My ducks love this food.

The media could not be loaded. Originally bought this water, fowl, food, and the local ducks and common moorrhen as well as turtles loved it! But it’s pricey! So I had to switch to a different brand but only to find out that it sank right to the bottom and went to feeding fish instead of water fowl. So I’m coming back to this one for now until I find a less expensive option, subscribing to get a little bit of a discount. And if I can’t find something cheaper, I will have to go back to less healthy options like crackers, and Bread, bread… Trying to do right by the little animals, but must also do right by my budget.

ok ~ it has taken me a week of daily feedings at my nearby lake to form an opinion about this food : it's big, chunky, when they say 'pellets' they mean 'pellets .... i have geese with babies and ducks with babies and was unsure if the little ones could swallow this ... pleased to report that everyone is eating this !! even the water turtles love it

This floating duck food is the perfect thing for my ducks. I have them housed with goats and was concerned that the goats would eat all the ducks food because goats... Anyway I thought about a floating house or a solid build food box with tiny holes for them then ran across this feed. It is perfect! I can throw some into the small duck pond and the goats can't get it. My kids and their friends love tossing a handful.or two to the ducks. The ducks LOVE this food. They race each other to see who can get it first. It's the best entertainment. The food floats for a long time. I've thrown out some and come back half an hour later and there are still a few bits floating in the pond. The 20lb pail arrived a week earlier then we were expecting. there was even a friendly hand written note along with the food from the manufacturer which I thought was so nice. Definitely recommend this food. Far exceeded my initial expectations.

There is no way this stuff is made for any waterfowl. When I say these pellets are huge I mean HUGE. They were even too big for the ducks to pick up. Why they would make them too large for any type of fowl to pick up is beyond me. Even the rooster who will literally eat a rock won't eat it. It's larger than my cat's kibble, just about the size of my dog's food! It's too bad. The ingredients seemed on par, good price, but they need to seriously rethink the size..back to the Purina pellets we go.

What else to say, it floats for an hour (so says the package) and the duck eat it up! It's a big bag, it'll last a long time.

The ducks( and chickens) love this. I give a handful each in the morning and again in the evening. The chickens get what they can from around the pond.

This stuff is really~really~really hard and large. The ducks wouldn’t eat it so hard. I tried to break it up with a hammer, but that was not an easy thing to do. If you let it soak for 5 to 10 minutes, it gets soft but still stays in it’s nugget form. Actually, it even stays in its form overnight if you don’t flood it. The ducks could swallow it once softened.**** I saw some other posts... get duckling food for ducklings!!!
