We liked these when we were using them as burp clothes but when the baby moved onto to solid food and we started using them as bibs they became even more valuable. The coverage is fantastic, the kid wears it like a shawl or poncho basically. We received a few as gifts but have since bought more so we can won't ever have to resort to using the other not-as-good bibs we own.

I had several different types of bibs with my first baby. These were my favorite type, because they were so large, and could also double as a burp cloth. Plus, I carry one in the diaper bag, and if one side gets dirty, you can flip to the reverse and use that side if you need to use it before it gets to the laundry.Since my toddler is still using these bibs, I needed to get a few more. (We only do laundry once a week, so we'd run out with double the usage.)These work well, catching most of what toddler can spill on themselves. My daughter gets frustrated when her hair gets caught in the snap, so I have to make sure her hair isn't in the way. I haven't ever found a good product to get stains out of these bibs (particularly anything red or orange). I attempted to use some Oxy Clean, and it ate right through the bibs, leaving several holes (lesson learned, and I never did that again).

Not cheap, but truly and example of getting what you pay for. The quality of these bibs is excellent. Our 4 year old and 1 year old have used these bibs continuously their entire lives and the bibs have endured countless messes and rough treatment over the years. They even use them as a “blankie” every night for comfort. Not a single tear or stain. Machine washable and soft. The tags are a bit tattered…but that’s it for 4 years of daily use. Pretty impressive. These bibs are an investment but you won’t be disappointed.

I love these as burp cloths because of their shape and thickness.

My baby is super drooly and prone to spit up. I carry one of these with her wherever we go. It’s super absorbent but dries quickly, it’s big but not cumbersome, it’s cute but not fussy. The shape is convenient for shielding car seat straps, throwing over your shoulder, using as a bib, or throwing over your arm. It’s cute enough that I feel like I can carry it around. It washes so well, hasn’t stained or shrunk, and seems to just get softer every time it comes out of the dryer.

This is my second purchase of this product.. My three years old daughter still use them while eating spagetti.. we have used them for long time and absolutly loved them!

Aden + Anais make some great stuff out of muslin. They use quality cloth, their designs are funky and they tend to have a generous size. This burping towel/bib seems like a great idea. Its made of several layers of muslin to make it quite nicely padded and absorbent. It's got the familiar jungle jam characters and it's even got nice colour-coded edging.It's slightly kidney shaped which makes it ideal for throwing over your shoulder when burping your little one. To give it a bit mkore function, it's also got some press-studs that allow it to double as a fairly generous-sized bib for your little one when they get a bit bigger.All seems good so far, and when you first use it' it's brilliant. Until your little one actually does something that makes you glad you had this on your shoulder. Then you realise it's limitations. Because it's cut to shape, there's no spare edges or corners to wipe your baby's mouth/face/neck/arm etc. Because it's one shape, you can't fold it over to hide the wet patch and use it again for the same session. Because it's nice and absorbent, when you do come to wash it, it takes longer to dry.On reflection, it's a lovely looking product and it's made to the same standard as other Aden + Anais stuff. but when it comes to using it, it doesn't do as well as the far simpler and cheaper muslins.
