Great little radio
Great sound and very compact ideal for our gazebo when entertaining

Good for price bracket and like smaller size
Does the job and perfectly fine what the purpose I got it for which was a spare room CD player for my mum who likes to play cds for relaxation music rather than using a phone/dock like I would. Marked down on sound quality because it is ok but not great - I don’t think you can expect much more for the price bracket so would mark down overall or on value, but don’t expect it to sound like a much more expensive unit

dont expect great sound quality - its plasticky but works ok for 80 year old father in law - compact little unit for his kitchen - got him listening to radio and CD's again - he takes it all around the house with him...

Very good buy!
Bought as gift and the recipient said it is extremely lovely. Just what they wanted and so easy to use. It even has a cute 'face!' Delighted!

DELIVERY WAS NOT CORRECT
THE ITEM WAS A VERY GOOD PRODUCT, BUT IT WAS LEFT OUTSIDE IN THE RAINBY THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE, NO CARD WAS PUT THROUGH THE DOOR.. PACKAGEINGWAS WET WHEN I FOUND IT. I PUT IT IN THE AIRING CUBOARD TO DRY OUT, TRIED ITOUT 3 HOURS LATER FOR 15 MINS IT WAS SCRATCHY IN SOUND BUT MAYBE OK WHENFULLY DRIED OUT. I WILL WAIT AND SEE. I REALISE THAT YOUR DELIVERY PEOPLE AREON A TIME LIMIT. BUT SURELY THEY COULD PUT ELECTRICAL ITEMS IN A PLASTIC BAG,OR LEAVE WITH A NEIGHBOUR, OR AT LEAST PUT A DELIVERY NOTIFICATION CARDCARD THROUGH THE DOOR. T6HIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM NOW WITH DELIVERERS

Reasonable product
Ordered the silver player. Silver only applied to the front part of the machine, the main body was white. This didn't matter. The sound quality is probably what you would expect from a mobile player rather than a full sound system. I am using it as a secondary player in the bathroom so the sound quality is ok for that purpose.

That the radio did not work
I sent this radio/CD player to my 93 year old aunt for BIRTHDAY GIFT. She and a host of other folk could not make the radio work, which was the main reason for choosing this player. It caused no end of stress for my aunt, who could not manage the return of the Philips CC player, and ended up 'binning' the machine. It was a total fiasco!
