Very easy set up, cleans really good with filter and sponge. Only downside is the spout has a really strong flow and if my betta gets too close he does a little ballet dance till he gets to the other side. The light tends to get really hot, which just means that not running it constantly is your best option. Other than those two glitches in the design, it’s a really great tank

Where to start. A metal pin came loose in the box, the black plastic insert came misaligned and shoved inside, this bent it and scratched the transparent part. Tried to assembly it to realize that is now bent and will not reach the sides to secure itself. With a little patience and heat I manage to straighten it, now it almost reaches the sides nudges correctly but then I put some water in, install the roof and plug in the cables and no go... There is no USB adapter included so I used a 1 amp one that I had around and no go, I noticed that I needed to wiggle the cable to make the light work. The pump no go. I opened the pump and realized it was missing the center shaft, its the metal pin I found on the box. Installed it and the little pump decided to work. The flow is super low and you can see the difference in flow when the little led is on. So I though maybe its the little USB adapter so I got a 2 amp one. Same exact experience, had to play with the cable and the flow is super low but at least is working. Time to get it ready, closed the lid and guess what? The lid does not align to the slides. It barely makes contact with the far most opposite side of the tank. Definitely a waste of 30$

My betta fish is happy with a regular cleaning (every 2 or three weeks) and checking the pH and temperature The water pump stopped and I thought it had broken but there was only dirt in the engine so I opened the small compartment and clean it with high pressure water from the tap. Now it works perfectly. I only had to put a filter to the led light because apparently it is a bit strong for the fish.

It’s a nice little tank. Cheaply made but expected that from the price. I am using it to put a few small shrimp in as their beta companion wanted to make a snack out of them in my 10 gal. This tank is absolutely not big enough to put a fish in, especially with the filter which I had to put a sponge over to slow down. I do not recommend for fish of any size, especially Beta which need at least a minimum of 5 gal.

Came in a timely manner. Easy to put together. Smart idea with the filter but also my complaint. I didn't measure anything out, but the filter takes up about 1/3 of the tank. The light gets hot after a few hours, so if you're forgetful maybe set a timer somewhere. I have a grow light and a window nearby, so I don't use the light anymore. I keep the lid up now but that can cause the pump pushing water in to readjust because it's connected to the lid. Not a huge inconvenience, i just have to check to make sure it's where it needs to be. The filter works well. It took a bit for my fish to get used to the push from the water recycling. It's overall a good idea and it keeps my fish alive. Might need more work on the functionality.

Good little starter tank for our betta, we have since upgraded to a bigger tank. Looks stylish sitting on the counter. We didn’t have any leaks or anything served its purpose.

The media could not be loaded. It’s a cute LITTLE fish tank. I knew it would be small, no problem there. The water pump quit working a little over 5 months after purchase. Will try to get my money back. Poor quality.

Perfect size for our beta fish, glad it had a little filter because our last tank got dirty so fast. I also love the sound of the running water, very soothing!
