Great product that does exactly what it is supposed to do
I see some reviews of these stating various deficiencies in quality. OK. My only problem with them, firing them into an actual archery target (as opposed to phone books, wood (!) and various jury rigged targets, is that using my 80 lb draw crossbow sometimes they penetrate the target too far and the plastic fletching comes loose. I have never had a problem using my 50 lb draw crossbow. If you have a problem with the plastic fletching coming loose, do what I do and lightly crimp the body of the bolt around the fletch shaft with pliers.Otherwise, hey, these things cost PENNIES! They work and are an awesome value. Use them as intended and you should be fully satisfied. And when you eventually break all of them, buy some more for the price of a couple of McDonald's coffees!

Needs some help to make them perform but after a few modification they are perfect.
These are really cheaply assembled. Now that does not mean they are not durable and made out of crappy products they are just put together horribly. Take the time to use pliers and pull all of them apart and use expoxy to assemble them. It will make them %100 stronger and will not come about on you. After doing this it made such a difference in how they performed and with a little patience and time I turned these cheap bolts into great reliable and accurate bolts. And I'll I used was some low grave epoxy. Do it and a guarantee they would perform a lot better.

These are good bolt that fly true and hit hard but they ...
These are good bolt that fly true and hit hard but they are a throw-away item as the fletchings tend to come off. The reason some of my fletchings came off though was because they hit right next to the other bolts I shot at the target and the new bolt knocked the previous bolt fletching off so they are accurate. I would recommend that you pick different spots to shoot so you dont damage the fletchings.I have not had any break the way others have but I am shooting them into a high density rubber target that you would use for full size bows which I would recommend as there is a lot of force being exerted on the bolt, they are made of aluminum and they are fairly thin. If you shoot them at something hard, I would expect them to break. They are inexpensive though and I can afford to loose one every now and then. They are fantastic but for the price, they are hard to beat.

Still smilin
I have tried others Arrows but keep buying Aluminum Pistol crossbow for 50 to 80 pound. The speed of these very good and fly strait especially in wind not like the plastic ones. the only problem I would the flight tend 2 break, this is a flaw from the factory, what I have been doing for that is taking a 32d of an inch drill bite larger or smaller or smaller your choice and drill the (feather or flight) and do the same for the shaft then go buy or if you have some screws the same size clip off the screw head, their should be at least a quarter of an inch going in on piece then a little superglue and then WALLAH its so easssy. (I;m sure you get what I;m trying to say. Evan with that breaking I would buy no other theirs worth it. Thanks to ACE MAS

Maintain true well but tend to destruct easily.
I read all sorts of reviews of these things and often laugh at the kids who expect some kind of super lifespan out of them. They are not like regular long bow or compound bow target arrows. If the target is too soft, these pass straight through, pulling off the vanes. If it is too hard, they destroy themselves on the face of it or you'll never get them out without pulling the vanes out of the rear of the shaft. Like all crossbow bolts they get driving abuse regular arrows never get. But they are super cheap! One can get 36 of these for what one good target arrow costs for a target bow. A good pistol crossbow target can be made by sandwiching the leg from and old pair of jeans between about four layers of cardboard box pasteboard. This won't stop an arrow entirely at 20 yards from an 80lb bow but will slow it down so that the point passes through, the vanes never drive in and destruct and the whole can be pulled out by hand for multiple uses. Again, just remember 172 of these cost about what one 50 round box of .44 mag cost. So they are and should be dispensable.

Exactly what i expected
so heres the deal. everyone is freaking out for various reasons and the most common is they break easy.now you get 36 for 10 dollars so how long can you honestly expect them to last? i can tell you i have an 80 pound crossbow (the viper or whatever) and i shot the same bolt out of this over 30 times with no problems. the reason for this being i shoot at a target DESIGNED FOR ARCHERY. not some home made target or phone books (like someone on youtube) if you really want to get the most out of them then take an extra step and use them properly. you can get a good target for 20-30 dollars. mine is a bit bigger so its a little more expensive but like i said ive had no problems. they are great and ive been shooting over 100 times a day with my friends (all using these bolts and my pistol) and including the ones that missed the target and hit the wood behind it and obviously shattered everywhere ive only had to open 2 packs of the 3 they sent. i have around 15 left after a week or so of shooting everyday and still 12 unopened. :] i lovvee these.. 5 stars for sure!!! im about to order 5 or 6 more sets :] ill be rolling in bolts!!!!!also on a side note. they are a durable plastic but its still plastic. if you pull them out of your target at any sort of angle they will break.
