SportRack 2-Bike Tow Ball Bike Rack, Grey, one Size (SR2512)

Rock solid, transported 2 bikes from Kansas to Texas....worked great well worth the cost.

Picture shows bike rack and hitch adapter. NOT the case. You ONLY receive the bike rack. Very misleading. The hole for the ball is smaller than normal hitch balls. Having a difficult time finding the proper ball and hitch. Will probably be returning the rack. I had called the vendor directly and they said it ships as pictured too. Very frustrating!!!

You will need to buy a ball hitch to mount this rack if you don't have one already. You can lock the bikes buying their lock and lock the insert pin for the hitch, but you can't prevent someone from removing the ball and taking the bikes and hitch. also, the rack twists on the ball, so I had to use a u-bolt to keep it from twisting and the bikes contacting my SUV. Good solid construction, too bad it doesn't slide directly into a hitch.

Probably a great hitch from the other 2 reviewers comment however, it clearly says this works with hitch receivers or ball hitch. It doesn't tell you an extra ball hitch receiver is required if you don't have the ball hitch. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband and was annoyed to learn when he tried to install it this Spring that it wouldn't work without the extra purchase.

Does not ship as pictured with the tow ball hookup. Needs a separate towball, which would not be a big deal, but it needs a nonstandard towball.

Good price for a simple way to carry bikes.
