C.R. Gibson Giraffe, Elephant and Tiger 'Welcome Baby' First Year Baby Memory Book for Newborns, 60 pgs., 9'' W x 11.125'' H

It's incredibly adorable! It has a little light blue on it, but not enough to make it strictly for boys, we're going to be using it for our daughter. So far it seems to be pretty well made. The little animals on the front are like foam cut-outs with a paper top and super cute. Had a problem with one of the giraffe's legs starting to peel up a bit, but nothing a little dab of glue won't fix, i'm sure. It has TONS of pages. Pages for: Mommy, Daddy, popular things when i was born, world leaders etc, prices of things when i was born, When Mommy's labor pains began, where/who delivered, weight, length etc, foot/hand prints, birth certificate, hospital bracelet and announcement, as well as a place to write down immunizations, height growth and pediatrician visits. It has a "special holiday" page, vacation, "my favorites", homecoming, each month up to 12 and each birthday up to 5, first day of school, and a nice pretty blank few pages in the back for special memories and such. There are quite a few pages and pre-made places to put pictures. Some of the pages i didn't use, for instance there are pages for 2 separate baby showers, but it was easy enough just to stick pictures and mementos from the 1 baby shower over the printed questions about the 2nd one and it looks fine. I would definitely recommend this baby book and have considered ordering extras for friends, family, and to save for my next baby!

Absolutely love it! Spent a lot of time looking at and comparing others...liked this one and its gender neutral which is a plus! Matches our baby theme so well, and the inside is packed full of stuff to help you capture your little ones early life to five years :) perfect gift to buy for expecting parents or great to buy yourself. Cant go wrong with this one! :)

Got this as a gift as a donation request from a "giving tree" this Christmas. Since it did not specify girl or boy, I was looking for a neutral option. This book was perfect --I would have loved it for any of my 3 babies! Nicer quality than I expected for the price. Had all the features you need- not too much or too little. It made me feel so good to give it to someone who probably never thought she would have such a lovely keepsake for her child.

Love this style book! There are a few extra pages we don't need like a second baby shower....however the pages have pretty borders on them and 2 4x7 photos cover the extra spaces wonderfully....it now looks like I was supposed to add photos there (and of course, having a newborn you will definitely have lots of photos to add in those spots if needed).I love that it goes beyond the first year, I wish my first child's did so as well.

I've bought other Carter's baby books in the past, so I knew I would like this one too. The cover is very classy and sweet for either gender. The unique thing I love about this book is that there is a page for every month of the first year. This will be a great way to keep up with those milestones through the first year. There are also two pages for the following years, whereas other books I have had only have one page to recognize their birthdays.

This was bought for a gift and she loved it. I loved it also. Very nicely made and so cute. Pages to record many things, pages for the daddy, pages for the mommy, a page for what was happening, prices of things, etc. when baby was born. This book once completed will be such a nice keepsake of a baby's happenings for the first 5 yrs of life. Love it!

I ordered this because it was said to be made by C.R. Gibson and I really like how their baby memory books are set up. However, this arrived and the box clearly says Carter on it. The book seems beautiful and has many things I was looking for, it's just missing some of the key pages I was specifically looking for by the C.R. Gibson brand. My due date is in about a week so hopefully the other option I ordered today will arrive before I deliver. If so I will be returning this one. Again, it seems like a nice book, just not what I was expecting and not the brand listed.

It took a lot of time to find the best book for recoding the memories of our baby. The little animals on the cover are raised and wooden. There are ribbons on top and bottom of the animals. Very cute.The pages are thick and laid out nicely.Pg 1-2 are all about mommy and daddy.Pg 3 is family tree- however it leaves no place or page for uncles/aunts their childrenPg 4 is a space for family photosThe next couple of pages are when baby is born, a place for picture of pregnant mom. Very nice book to welcome and record our first year with our new little guy. Some books you will find have built in pockets etc. for teeth or first locks of hair, but this is just nice and simple. It all goes into a box until they move out anyways, right?!

I ordered a copy of this book two years ago and it came in a box which was very helpful for adding other little keepsakes. I just ordered another book today and it only came with half the box. Was this a mistake or is a box no longer included?
