HP 255 G7 AMD Ryzen 5 8GB 256GB SSD 15.6 Inch Windows 10 Home Laptop

I bought this laptop as I was looking for a Ryzen 5 based machine and this one (at the time of purchasing) was the cheapest I could find with these specs.I was surprised with it being a HP coming in at the lowest price but it honestly is a solid laptop. My usage has been web surfing, watching youtube / twitch /netflix etc and there is no issues watching 1080 or even 4k videos * it is a 1080p screen*Children have used it to play Roblox and star stable and it can hold 60 fps on each fine. Yes they aren't Call of Duty specd games but this machine will play the older, less intensive specd hardware games. Modern games ( I haven't tried ) this laptop would struggle to run most at any kind of playable framerate, but if you are buying a laptop to play AAA games you will prob already know this isn't the laptop for you.I can't fault this laptop.. temperatures are fine, noise levels are low , screen is ok but not great. The viewing angles for me aren't the best but I'm used to desktop setups .The laptop is thin, light and has a nice clean finish.

The description said Windows 10 included but when it came, it had Windows 11 installed. However as i began using it I was so impressed with this version of Word. So much easier than my previous version. Speed is incredible changing from one screen to another and from program to program - I know people say 'app' these days, but I'm sick of hearing that word lately. We're expected to 'get the app' for everything we want to do these days -drives me nuts. But this is a great laptop. I don't game, I use it mainly for writing and editing. It's what I do and I love it.

This laptop is not user upgradable by this I mean SSD and Ram.I found this to my disappointment when mine arrived, when I checked the spec before purchase it read SSD 256 Gb And I assumed that meant the unit removable type ,not so there is no access anywhere for the owner to upgrade the SSD (HD) or the Ram. To me this was bad advertising.So buyer beware.also it does not have a DVD optical drive as Stated which again is false advertising.

Have been using this laptop for about a week now and continues to impress with its speed and ease of use. I'm not a great fan of Windows 10, but still in the process of getting more acquainted with it to be fair, however I was a great fan of Windows 7 that served me well for over 13 years. Everything comes preloaded and the set up is a very quick and easy process. Multi-tasking on this machine is made easy, thanks to its 8GB memory and Razeon 5 processor which has no problem with UHD and HD films. Good connectivity with my wireless printer and other Bluetooth devices. The 15.6 screen display projects images adequately, but picture will gradually distort if not viewing at correct angle. The external build quality is fairly understated and the casing appears quite durable, but time will tell. For the price, I could not find anything else on the market at the moment that offers this spec for such value.

I bought it for what's on the inside not the look, a four core Ryzen with Vaga 8 graphics and a 250GB SSD. It has a nice key board and the screen is okay 1920x1080p. No lag even when you have several tabs open. Its nice for the price.

i was looking for a new laptop for a while and this stood out as being the specs for the price range.AMD processors tend to be second best to intel but in recent years have stepped up and closed the gap, even though i would say an intel i5 core processor will be better you will also be paying an extra £30-50 for not much.a fast lightweight laptop doesn't need much configurations out of the box being usable within 30min opening.with a bit of tinkering, this laptop can be as fast as any other, I've used and the start-up time is within 10s.for surfing the web! report writing this laptop should cope easily its not gonna cope major loads of video editing or AAA gaming but light games should be fine.I've been tinkering with this machine all day and have been surprised how well it works but i haven't personally hit it with major loads yet.

This product is so confusing. It's start in title mentioned 8GB RAM. In specification saying are 32GB RAM and 8GB Video RAM. If you scroll down in more in size I think it's saying 256GB RAM. If this prduct start having so many faults before buying I cannot expect anyfing less when is arriving. Not buying it.

I spent quite a good time in browsing for a perfect laptop and shouldn't be too heavy on price. Finally I found this laptop, I am happy with it's speed and was able to do my day to day activities like surfing net, paying bills, watching movies etc.
