Milani Amore Satin Matte Lip Crème - Classic (0.22 Fl. Oz.) Cruelty-Free Nourishing Lip Gloss with a Soft, Full Matte Finish

I was on the fence about this color because it looks super purple in the pictures but ya know what?I really dig it!It’s definitely darker than anything I normally wear, but when I put it on my husband said my lips looked luscious and ran in to put his face on my face for smooches.YES PLEASE!We’ve been together 12 years and he’s never even used the WORD luscious, let alone used it to describe my face pillows.😍I’m pretty stoked if I do say so myself.The deets on this lippy.It’s kind of a deep purplish red on me, there is a lot in the tube, it glides on effortlessly, it’s not overly drying on my lips and it dries like paint but not in a bad way.I mean that it’s basically like shellacking your lips with color because this stuff does not come off.It’s not only smudge proof, it’s almost make out proof as well!I say almost because I did leave some faint smooch stains on my Mr.’s face, but out of all the lipsticks I’ve tried thus far, it’s the most smudge proof.Even compared to my Fenty mattes!I’m literally shocked.I also like that I didn’t have to use a lipliner.Omg it’s so easy to get a sharp lip outline with this!No blotting needed btw.The only annoying part about this lippy is that it’s stupid hard to remove.I mean I used jojoba, various toners, and straight up isopropyl alcohol but there was STILL a little hint of color on my lips.I actually had to have my husband reformulate the CBD toner we make so I could finally take this stuff off with one cotton pad instead of using 20 and scrubbing my lips until they are on fire and I look like someone punched me in the mouth.I didn’t take off a star though because, I mean, if I want a lipstick that doesn’t smudge, it stands to reason that it’s gonna be like removing old paint to get it off.Gotta take a little bad with the good ya know?I took a couple of pics close up and farther away so you can see what it looks like on a chocolate gal.I probably should have posted better ones but it was late, I was about to take off my makeup and tired as all get out so I figured as long as I at least attempted modesty by covering my décolletage, we’re good.🤷🏽‍♀️It’s the lips that are important anyway!🤪I know that lipstick can look different on different skin tones, so I always try to post a pic for other darker skinned women so ya can have an idea of what it looks like on darker skin..🤓As always no filters or flash, just my big ole face on display with only my bathroom lights on.🥴I love this lipstick and I bought it in 5 other colors, hopefully they will all work out for me!🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽***UPDATE ****The other colors I bought are AWESOME! Especially Amore. I included 2 pics of that color because it’s glorious.It’s this brilliant , almost femme fatale comic book heroine red and I.am.LOVING.it.I feel like I should be fighting crime in a tricked out moserati or something!It’s more drying than the other lippies in this line, but it’s still pretty great.Also, if you are struggling between obsession and gorgeous, may I suggest you try obsession?They are both very similar colors on my African American skin but obsession has more firepower and is more highly pigmented. Gorgeous is like it’s shy 2nd cousin.

I got the Emotional shade and it’s beautiful! Not too bright, very brownish red. Definitely my new every day lipstick! Very lightweight too

Have loved this product for the past 8 years! My absolute favorite lip product because it doesn't clump, chip, dry out my lips & it lasts all day! It dries & stays in place alll day!!! Not sticky, texture is perfect & color is very vivid. No weird smell to it either. A great value for money spent!

The pigment of this lipstick was awesome. It smells nice, a little like vanilla, went on just fine, and wasn’t too sticky.It dried very quickly, and can begin to ‘crumble’ and crack away, but that’s mostly fixable if you put on a light layer of chapstick underneath.Great for the price, and doesn’t transfer when you eat or drink.

The color is beautiful and the product lasts a long time but the lipstick didn’t come with a seal and seems used. Not sure if it is, but without a seal there’s no way to tell.

Stays put, is fully matte and transfer proof fairly quickly after application, is great pigment, doesn’t come off the inner lip creating that weird gap, and most of all doesn’t feel or look crusty and is comfortable! Definitely would recommend!

I bought the color PRECIOUS when they still sold it in stores .. all time favorite liquid lipstick, my go to! To my surprise they stopped selling it in stores so I bought it off here, Amazon.Something about this liquid lipstick was off to me. First, it wasn’t sealed when it arrived. Second, the color was very different than the one I had bought in store. It dried darker, the one I bought in store dried pinkier. Third, it was VERY drying. And lastly and most disappointing, it lasted me like a month WTF.It literally dried out inside the bottle, that’s never happened with the one I had bought in store. This led me to believe that the product was used and opened before it ever got to me or it wasn’t filled up fully because how?!Next time, I’ll order it directly from the Milani site.

This was my first black matte lipstick. I loved the smell, kinda smelt liked vanilla, how fast it would dry, and of course because it was matte. It's also very pigmented and just looked so great. Matte lipsticks are my favorite! Loved that it never smudged and while it was a pain to get off at times, it is still worn and loved.Now my reason for my three star rating, this lipstick would crack and peel off. It would make your lips feel tight and you can barley tap your lips with your fingers, or even going to get a drink, you'll find pieces of the lipstick on the glass or on your fingertips. Reapplying helped and bit, but you'd get clumps on your lips after awhile or clumps of dried lipstick peeling off your lips. As I mentioned before it can be a pain to get this lipstick off, I recommend using micellar water or even a bit of olive or vegetable oil. I will say pizza grease works too, I found that out accidently when I went out.I would definitely buy again, but hopefully they can find a way to tweak the formula so it doesn't crack and peel.
