Comfortable, run large
Like Triple 8 Covert Knee Pads they are nice covers that don't restrict movements and are comparatively breathable. They are made of elastic woven sleeve with a soft pad sewn to it. They are pretty flexible and give, I'd say, medium protection (they are not heavy duty, but they would save skin and may prevent bruises). Unlike Knee pads, they run large. I bought medium size (that is supposed to fit 8" - 10" elbow circumference): it was about 10" in circumference, and it was really loose on 8" elbow. I made an exchange for a small size (supposed to fit 6"-8" elbow) and it fits just comfortably. So, I'd advise taking a smaller size if your measured size is between product sizes.

Protected me in a fall
Went flying off my electric skateboard and this is what saved my right elbow from getting scraped across asphalt. I wasn't going super fast so they didn't tear, but I imagine a bad enough fall would mean they'd need to be replaced. However, for the comfort and thin construction, I'd say this is a great value. They did their job and protected me when I needed it!!

Great but need wearing-in
I read a bunch of reviews for these that the sizes run large, so I ordered a medium. It was too small, I'm guessing the large would have been too large. To fix them I stretched them over some jars and stacked caps in as well to stretch out the elastic, by morning they fit perfectly. I bought these because I write a lot and the nerves in my elbow have gotten hurt recently. The padding on these is perfect for protecting them, glad I got them even if I had to wear in the material a bit.

Cool pads, not meant for full on protection
I got this pad for my eskate, I ride with knee/shin guards and a triple eight helmet, and padded gloves, don't want elbow pads but I didn't want my elbows to be bare either, so I got these and they are pretty awesome, im sure they break in some over time because they feel a little restricting but over time it seems it's getting easier to bend them. they will protect your elbow from impacts a tiny bit but it's mainly for stopping road rash. Road rash prevention and some padding protection is the reason I got these, also apart from all of that you look much more slick in these as they appear to be sleeves.

Runs very small in size
If you think you need a small size. Order a medium. If you think you need a medium, order large.

Great support for your knees
I don't know about elbows but I am wearing these "elbow pads" on my knees for my squats. It warms your knees and holds them in place without being too rigid. Perfect knee sleeve if you ask me. These are easy to pull down to your ankles and wear throughout the day as a sort of "stockings", until you need to do the exercise. After the set is complete I will usually lower it, because it does somewhat limit your mobility. But compared to another brand knee sleeves these are pretty amazing and gives me more mobility. I'm sure it would work for your elbows too it's just that mine are too big for me and also my elbows don't need support.
