Very helpful
I purchased this mainly for 1 chapter. I needed to refresh my memory on the theory's and coping strategies. It is very well written. If someone wants a Workbook format to apply the copy strategies each chapter has them. So it isn't just reading theory it helps with application. Each chapter connects to others. It could be information overload for someone wanting some coping strategies. In that case, I suggest reading the names of the chapters and pursuing it briefly to select what applies to your needs. Some chapters are informative for someone wanting lots of details or how it relates to personality types. Don't get overwhelmed and think you must read from the beginning to end. Chapter 8 is helpful for understanding thinking patterns that influence anxiety. Don't try to memorize anything. If you want, tear a worksheet page out. I wrote key sentences to help. I've known many and it is a good reminder. I should... I am... I can't... others might think I am...Good luck with your journey and I hope you find some strategies and understanding

Very Helpful In Dealing With Anxiety
I recommend this book to EVERYONE because if you yourself do not suffer from major anxiety, someone you love may suffer from it . Everyone needs to understand how REAL the problems areand validate either your own or someone else's suffering, with major anxiety.

A great guide to managing anxiety and fear!
The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook by Edmund J. Bourne is a comprehensive self-help guide for those struggling with anxiety and phobias. The book offers readers a step-by-step program to help them understand their anxiety and develop practical strategies to manage it.The book is divided into four sections, each of which covers a different aspect of anxiety and phobias. The first section provides an overview of anxiety and the different types of anxiety disorders. The second section covers specific phobias and how to overcome them, while the third section focuses on social anxiety and panic disorders. The final section of the book offers strategies for managing general anxiety and stress. One of the strengths of the book is its focus on practical, evidence-based strategies for managing anxiety. Bourne draws on a range of approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques, to provide readers with a comprehensive toolkit for managing their anxiety. The book is well-organized and easy to follow, with clear explanations of complex concepts and practical exercises that readers can use to apply the strategies discussed. Bourne's writing style is clear and accessible, making the book an easy read for those who may be struggling with anxiety. One potential limitation of the book is that it is primarily focused on self-help strategies. While these strategies can be effective for some people, those with more severe anxiety disorders may need additional support from a mental health professional. However, the book does provide guidance on when to seek professional help, and it can serve as a useful resource for those who are working with a therapist.Overall, The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook is an excellent resource for anyone struggling with anxiety or phobias. The book is comprehensive, well-researched, and provides readers with a wide range of practical strategies for managing their anxiety. Whether you are dealing with social anxiety, panic attacks, or general stress and worry, this book is sure to offer you valuable insights and tools for overcoming your anxiety.

Nice investment
Some chapters of book increased my anxiety for sure , but it has a lot of useful information everybody needs to know not just people with panic and anxiety problems. I recommend to read it to improve your overall knowledge about things like a good night sleep , self esteem, self love and negative thinking. P.s for anxiety problems you need a specialist not a book.

Great work book and tool.
So far this has proven to deliver. It is written in a manner that I can understand.I love that everything is detailed and explained. The work sheets are a major plus.It is genuinely repetitive for the most part.I get it though.I do wish it had the added advantage of a chapter on food phobias like ARFID(Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder) in adults.Other than that it is a great read and tool.I have found myself on a whole new plane of wanting to learn more about the human psyche. It is rather interesting.

So far so good
The media could not be loaded. I really have enjoyed this workbook so far. It actually helps you understand anxiety. I am more of a want to have as much info as I can on a topic, over the last 4 months I have been suffering with awful anxiety attacks. This book has helped me work on myself and figure out what I can do to do improve. Still in first phases of using but am impressed so far. :)
