This is a nice scarf. It's made of polyester with correct measurements. I was too quick to cut the tag, but it said it was "silk feeling polyester." I'd beg to differ, it's polyester feeling all around, but I wasn't expecting anything different. It's very light and thin, so it's not a substantial scarf. More of an accessory. I get the monitor differences showing colors differently, but when I first took it out of the package it appeared almost a dark green. Seen in a different light, it could pass for a dark-ish teal. But I do like the combo with the caramel polka dots. The picture with the closest close-up is. Closest I could get to the true color, the other two pics reflect the light differently. Overall, yes, I'd recommend as an accessory (ladies necktie, purse handle wrap, wrist wrap, and if your waist is small enough you could even pull off a belt bow or something like that).

I cannot remember how I came to select this scarf. It wasn't something I was shopping for-- it was almost an afterthought. I get compliments like crazy on it. It's semi-sheer and works nicely on a summer outing when you need to throw something over your shoulders for air conditioning... But it's long enough to be used as a belt. It dresses up a jacket or dress as a shawl. The color palette, to my surprise, goes with many things in my closet. Great versatile wardrobe accessory and very reasonably priced. And I wasn't even looking for it! :-)
