Excellent
Took a chance and bought this stage 2 expansion as a "like new" resale item for just under $100 and it was perfect. Stacked flawlessly with no warp issues, no chips, no damage. The only issue I could see with the item was the box was a bit banged up but the item itself was packaged perfectly. Well worth it for the value!

Heavy dumbbells that don’t take up space!
These work great! I initially bought the dumbbells up to 50 lbs. I then added the weights up to 70 lbs. As you can see, they hardly take up any space. One thing I haven’t bought that I’d recommend is buying the stand. Search “powerblock stand” and you’ll see a couple options. $160 for a very durable stand. The only drawback on these dumbbells is if you are trying to do sets with short rests, and you are changing the weights in increments of 5 pounds. There are little metal cylinders inside you can remove to change weights in 5 lb increments (2.5 lb/dumbbell). It still just takes a few seconds though.Overall these are perfect for working out at home when you don’t have a whole workout room to store a full dumbbell rack.

Worth the cost, Durable, Worth all them gains!
You get what you pay for.PowerBlock Elite 90 Adjustable 5 to 90-Pounds per Dumbbell SetPros:Compact, durable designMany, MANY weight incrementsVersatile and easy to useNot as Pro (no Cons here):Square-shape vs traditional hex-shape takes a little adjusting for some exercises$600 (gotta pay to play)I actually purchased the base set (up to 50lbs US-imperial/ 22.6kg metric) a while back and purchased the remaining extensions (up to 90 US/40.8 metric) about 2 months ago.The weights are excellent quality. The handles have the weight increments marked and color-coded. I've done plenty of drop and pyramid sets with them. They feel comfortable to hold.and weight changes happen in easily under 10 seconds.I don't advise or advocate chunking them like a frisbee, however, these weights are solid. The square design allows you to use them for weighted planks or pushup (renegade) rows while feeling completely stable. I never drop my weights, however I do various work such as deadlifts, cleans and presses, and weighted burpees which require me to contact the ground with the weight, controlled mind you. There's even a video where a guy was using the first gen model and he was really slamming it. 20 year old weights and still kicking. Just don't be reckless and drop them for any reason. Anything could give no matter the durability if abused. It doesn't matter why you're lifting (functional, body building, general health, just wanna "look good") these would fit well in any type of gym.

It just doesn't work with itself
One of the add ons fits one of the original dumbells fine. The other dumbell fits into that one very tight which is annoying. Then the other add on is completely unusable for both original dumbells. Very annoying as I'm going to have to return 40 lbs of product that already came in partially destroyed boxes. Also seems one of my original dumbells is a little off seeing as it has a very tight fit too. Might have to also return those. Just frustrating.

Powerblock dumbbells are fantastic
I've owned the Powerblock Elite Dumbbells (the 5 - 50lb kit) and just purchased teh 50-70 extension set. I've found these weights to be comfortable to carry and use, and the ease of use, and fast weight switching has allowed me to see great results over the past few months (and now I had to get the extension set to keep going). I love how compact my set is, despite being the equivalent of multiple dumbbells up to 70 lbs.Due to the design of the weights, there are a few exercises that are more difficult, and I can't really wear my watch as it'll press against the side bars, but to me, these are minor quibbles as I'm in no way an expert weightlifter and my home gym is fairly limited by space. All in all, I would definitely recommend these!

Heavy Dude !!!
These are just what I needed. There was another reviewer who explained the weight variances on each dumb bell but at my age, I'm primarily concerned with ANY increase and not exact increases. Hey!! I'm not training for the olympics!!As stated in his review, there may be a one pound difference in the listed value and the exact value. I did the same thing and I agree but don't mind. These are great for clearing up a lot of space. They're also easy to adjust. A slight negative can be a five pound gap between certain weight values (i.e. 30 to 35 lbs). I'd already purchased magnetic add-ons (2.5 lbs) and they work perfectly for those moments. STILL the 90 #ers are great !!

These are perfect when you finally get strong enough to use the 90 pounds per dumbbell. Definitely disappointing that PowerBlocks discontinued the 90-120 add on kit but these will be good enough for a while. Quality is excellent and to be expected from something that is made in America (Note if you don't have the Elite set other sets are NOT made in USA so be alert). Yes, maybe spending 550 dollars is a lot of money ( if you add the price of the 0-70 pound set with this) but having the ability to change weights with ease is worth it. PowerBlocks are a lot better built than Nautilus ones in my opinion anyway so spend the money and be set for a long time:)
