Spigen Tough Armor [Extreme Protection Tech] Designed for iPhone 11 Case (2019) - XP Gunmetal

This is a great case at an affordable price. It looks slightly cheap on the back side of the phone,but I’ve dropped my phone a ton of times from at least 3-4 ft off the ground and there is no damage at all to it. The stand is convenient but I wish there was a way to stand my phone up tall ways and not just long ways. That’s the only con I see. I also had this same case on my old galaxy s9, that one was very sturdy as well.

had this case for years and took a lot of abuse. finally started breaking but phone never broke. got a different case and my phone screen cracked the first week. so I reordered this case and sure my phone will be protected again.

When I bought my new iPhone I did a lot of research on the best case to fit my needs. In the past I have always used Otterbox cases. I tried one for this phone but didn't like it for the iPhone 11. So my research led me to this case.However, like so many phone cases the sides are a bit slick. I had read some reviews here mentioning that but decided to buy it anyway because I found an easy solution. I purchased some black sticky grip pads and put a thin strip on each side of the case as can be seen in the picture. This has made it much more easy to grip and less likely to slip and be dropped. The black grip tape in my opinion doesn't look too bad because it sort of matches parts of the case.The profile for this case is what I would describe as medium. It does not add a whole lot of thickness but isn't as thin as some of the other cases I looked at. As far as weight it seems very light and doesn't seem to make the phone much more heavy. The side buttons are easy to press as well as easy access to the mute switch. I am using this on an iPhone 11. I have used several Spigen Tough cases on the past and trust them for rugged use like hiking and hunting.The case is straight forward to put on, and the outer shell snaps in place with a solid click over the rubbery protective layer. The buttons are recessed, so it requires some effort to press, but I never have accidental key presses during normal handling or pocket use. It has a usable kickstand for watching videos which is a great feature.The finish is a nice matte color, and the texture and grip are perfect for handling. It will snag a bit on fabric putting it in and out of pockets. I can deal with that because it never falls out either.After having several of these, I only have one complaint. The matte finish does not last. After a few months, you can expect the edges to wear down to a white color. Over time there will be scratches and wear that all reveal the white plastic color under the finish on the outer shell. It is still usable, but it will start to look beat up.

Solid well made phone case, at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend it!

I had purchased Spigen cases twice before. They lasted for years and protected the phone on frequent drops. This recent purchase is also great. It looks great and protects the phone from damage.

I bought my daughter the Spigen Tough Armor (Gunmetal) for her new iPhone 7 in late 2016. I put a high-quality glass screen protector on the phone to protect the front. Case is still fine, though shows a lot of wear on the back.Last month (12-2019), I bought my daughter this Spigen Tough Armor (Gunmetal) case for her new iPhone 11. Basically the same as she had before and she loves the new one too. Again, I put a high-quality glass screen protector on the front of the phone to protect it.These are excellent cases if you want a strong/sturdy slim case. I would recommend putting a high-quality glass screen protector on your phone. You'll have a phone, that is still quite slim and well protected.
