I have a small confectionery business and I need a melter for chocolate, just like this machine advertised. After receiving this melter, I immediately tried it in work and found that it was absolutely not intended for the stated purposes. The temperature controller is just a design element and does not affect the temperature of the water in any way, the chocolate burns to the tank surface and remains cold on top, even constant stirring does not help. Also, it not possible to use this machine to maintain the temperature of previously melted chocolate. Expectations were not met. Wasted time and money!!!

Ordered the 110v model received the 239v model with note that stated, sorry you're getting this one even though you ordered other.Works well. Heats quickly, accurate temo.

I did not buy this product for the simple fact that it is NOT a tempering machine. It is just a chocolate melting machine. A tempering machine melts the chocolate at a specific temperature and keeps the chocolate moving as it reaches the ideal temperature for making confections. The chocolate must be kept moving.You could probably use this machine in such a fashion but it would take a lot of manual effort to do so.
