Lord Premium Plus Twin Blade Razor with pivoting Head and 1 blade

I bought this because it was advertised as compatible with the Gillette Atra, and I had been shaving with the Dorco Comfort Thin II razors, which were discontinued (ugh, such betrayal, I hate Dorco for discontinuing these) and those were advertised as Atra-compatible. I wanted a new shaving system that was cheap, high-quality, and used only 2-blade cartridges.This handle took a little getting used to, but once I got accustomed to it I absolutely love it. The angle is just right for allowing me to hold the handle slightly away from my face, which I found is ideal. It is somewhat different from Dorco's handle (which you need to hold closer to your face) and Gillette handles (which are perhaps somewhat in-between.) When I first started using it I had to overcome my muscle memory of the old angle I had been holding it at, and figure out the best one for this one, but in the end the way this handle works is much more comfortable. I think it is a better-designed product. I got a few small cuts during the adjustment period, but have been shaving for days without even a tiny nick now that I've figured it out. It took me less than 2 weeks to get used to this new handle.I have been using this with the Personna Twin Pivot Plus Cartridges, and they fit perfectly. I highly recommend them and recommend the combination of those cartridges with this handle. They pivot well, there is a good range of pivoting. Interestingly, this handle doesn't fit the Dorco cartridges, but that's okay, I only had a few of them left and I am moving away from that shaving system anyway.This handle feels well-made and solid. There is an anti-slip grip and it's easy to hold, and it's easy to clean. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far I am impressed. I have been using it for about a month. The combination of this handle and the Personna blades are gonna save me a ton of money in the long-run. I have been very happy with the quality of the shaves I've been getting, which is a testimony both to the handle and the blades.Highly recommended!

It is a little light. I don't really mind. Works with atra compatible blades, no problem putting the on. I really like the fact that the entire underside is flat, easy to tell which way it's facing when shaving blind in the shower.

I bought this because I misplaced a Gillette Vector Plus handle. This is supposed to be compatible with Trac II or Atra blades, and it is, but with effort -- the blades don't easily click into place, like they did with the Gillette handle. But with a little effort, they work. (Specifically, I use Personna Twin blades, e.g. these.) The blade that came with this handle wasn't very good; it only worked on the "upstroke" and caused a lot of nicks. Personna blades work better.

This razor handle is ridiculous.First, it's shaped awkwardly - the arch is wrong and the distance of handle to head is far.Second, it's far too lightweight - there's literally no balance, it kind of just floats around in your hand with no substance.Third, it's super cheeply made - the spring that keeps the little "jaws" tight onto the blade cartridge literally gave out by about the 5th usage, leaving me with half my shaving done because it wouldn't keep the cartridge in place with even the slightest, most careful pressure against my skin.Even though the price is small, it was a waste of time and money to purchase this handle.

Expected a heavier razor made of metal. Instead got a lightweight plastic razor made mostly of plastic. Made in Egypt. It works, but hardly worth the 12.50 price tag.

Like the twin blade system of shaving and favor the way the blades are mounted vs the 5 blade shaving cartridges. These are easier to shave between the nose and upper lip, below the lower lip, and do a better job on shaving side burns to the right length with a crisp straight cut.

Arrived quickly and works with Atra razors as promised. The handle is a little on the light side, but does the trick.

works really well. i still don't see why anyone needs more than two blades
