It just works and that's all I was hoping for
Got an XPS 15 in 2017 and wasn't sure of the exact model since I've moved homes and misplaced paper work, battery was dead and couldn't find old emails. I was reluctant to buy a charger from a retailer that wasn't Dell but out of desperation did so.It charges the laptop with no problems, haven't checked effectiveness or speed against other models but faced with the prospect of £70 for a charger from Dell I'm glad I took my chances with this one. It's been about a month so far.

Excellent GENUINE DELL - - I have had troubles with non-Dell
Definitely glad to have bought this after a terrible experience with a non-Dell clone that was below up my master fuse every time I used it.

Broke within a Week
Bought this in January and within a week the adapter broke. 6 months later it has finally stopped working. Do yourself a favour and buy a cheap knockoff, it’s probably put together better than this junk from Dell

Plug is different
Only thing I can notice is the end plug itself is different but that's a small point would have given them the 5 stars for the price I would have expected that little detail otherwise its identical too the original good product nice to have 2 leads now I don't have to drag a cable around when I go home

Proper Dell charger, works completely fine. Recommend, much cheaper than from the Dell website :)
