Both my little girls have slight night time anxiety with shadows on the walls and all the sounds outside. We live in the country so we have bears with their claws on the concrete, crickets, cicadas, bats, owls, deer and the dogs who chase them all. It's pitch black where we live in the country side and these lights give such a gentle glow and make very little sounds when the projector is rotating. The handy little remote helps me turn on the sound for my daughters when they are sleeping and forgot to turn their sound on. The added benefit of the ability to use a micro SD card to make our own playlist has made these very customizable for each child. One prefers the sound of a cat purring and the other prefers the sound of sleeping puppies when they dream and whimper in their sleep.

I checked it when it arrived, and it worked great - these really are pretty, when they work. I only used it twice and it no longer turns on.

Although it feels like cheap construction (and it might be), the product offers a good performance for the price. When used in a dark or dimly lit room, the light output is more than adequate to create a desirable "underwater" effect. The built-in sound effects are decent.

I have the original ohuhu ocean wave light projector and i absolutely adore both products, but i also have things i don't like about them. Love the colors the original one came with, this one's colors are on the cool spectrum of the color wheel. Thats pretty much my only complaint about this light. I love that it comes with a remote, I love that it'll stay on 24/7 unless you set it to a setting, I also love that you can have the settings of if you want it set to a certain amount of hours that it'll be on, I also love that it has sounds, although the sounds are kind of artificial

We bought this for a grandson in Virginia for Christmas. While we were visiting him he had to leave for a few days to visit other family in New Jersey, so we awaited his return. While he was away, we experimented with his Ocean Wave Projector in our bedroom and pleasenly discovered it helped us to fall asleep quickly. The sounds of birds and babbling brooks along with the ever shifting collage of patterns seemed to drop us off into deep sleep almost immediately. We're getting one for us and yes. He loves it too.For the price, we were well pleased with this device. ☆☆☆☆☆

I'm very disappointed with this light. We have had 2 others identical to this one in the past and loved them. We just recently needed to replace one of those so we purchased this one. It was labeled as New, so we were fine with paying the money for it seeing as how long the others lasted after daily use. When it arrived, it was packaged as pictured in the photos, still giving the illusion of being a new product, but upon opening the package I quickly realized that this light was CLEARLY used. And Unfortunately, broken. I would give thought to it being damaged in transit, however, it was protected with foam and covered in plastic that was "sealed" with a sticker. After taking off the plastic, I immediately saw all of the scratches on the plastic lid and the crack, that is also rough when rubbing your finger across the surface. I then plugged it in and tried to use all of the functions. Thankful the lights and sounds worked without an issue, However, the movement function Does Not Work. It makes the sound that its being turned on, but nothing happens. If this was marked as used I wouldn't be so upset, but seeing as I paid full price for a broken object, I am understandably not happy!

After purchasing one of these lights, i noticed that projected light was very jerky and did not have that calming fluid-like motion as described. Close, but not right. After suspecting that the product was faulty, i contacted the seller and told them about it. The seller generously decided to send me another light at no cost which was very nice of them. After receiving the second light, i realized that all of the lights may act like the first one i got because the second one had the same problem. So i decided to try to fix the lights myself and was able to use super glue to add friction to one of the pieces that the lens sits on, and was able to remove 95% of the "jerky-ness" of the light motion.Another note i should make, is that the light is not totally silent when it is powered on and with the preset sounds turned down. It's not unbearable, but thought i should mention it. Easily masked if you have a TV on.Other than the product not fully functioning out of the box, the light is great. Cool color options. Preset sounds not that great. Would only recommend buying if you don't mind trying to do an easy fix with super glue and slight noise that the little motor makes.

The light/sound machine is a decent price for what you get. I do wish it had a brighter effect as it truly needs to be dark in your classroom. So if there is any window light coming in the light itself will not be bright. My student love using this light when calming from crisis or when they need a sensory break. It has become a classroom staple for me!
