Spice Appeal Chinese Five-Spice, 16 Ounce

This is such a wonderful spice! I love it on pork! I have even used it on roasted vegetables; sweet potatoes, zucchini, yellow squash and butternut squash! Can’t go wrong with this one. Good value worth the buy!

Did not realize i had all the ingredients that make it upin my cupboard already. Lol. Nonetheless, this product is good. Used it in my dry rub even for an oriental flavor in my ribs.

Very flavorful!

This size is great if it is used frequently, if not stick with the smaller sizes.

I JUST OPENED AND USED THIS FIVE SPICE POWDER I ORDERED ABOUT A MONTH AND A HALF AGO. IF I HAD NOT WAITED TO OPEN IT I WOULD HAVE SENT IT BACK. IT'S HORRIBLE !! I HAVE BOUGHT ABOUT 4 DIFFERENT BRANDS OF FIVE SPICE POWDER AND THEY HAVE ALL BEEN ACCEPTABLE. THEY SMELLED GOOD...THEY GAVE MY FOOD A GREAT TASTE,ETC. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY PUT IN THIS ONE BUT IT HAS NO SEMBLANCE OF WHAT FIVE SPICE POWDER IS SUPPOSE TO SMELL AND TASTE LIKE. THIS IS A BAD JOKE. THESE PEOPLE SHOPULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO MARKET THIS AS FIVE SPICE POWDER. IT HAS ZERO TASTE AND AN UNPLEASANT SMELL UPON OPEN IT. THEY SHOULD GIVE ME A REFUND AND AN APOLOGY FOR RUINING MY FOOD. I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO DRIVE THE 25 OR SO MILES ROUNDTRIP IN ORDER TO GET THE REAL DEAL IN QUEENS, N.Y. THANKS FOR NOTHING !!
