A MUST HAVE if you stand in the sun and do not tolerate heat well like me!
I'll start by saying, I do NOT handle heat well when standing outside in direct sunlight. I sweat, a lot.It fits very snugly, as it's supposed to. The material is very light. It feels like a second skin, which I generally HATE, but once it started to heat up, I could immediately see the benefit and I was very happy to have it on. At 2pm in the afternoon, again, blasted with sun, 109 degrees F with heat index, I was the only photographer still on the track. Everyone thought I was nuts.I bought this because I can stand on a race track for 8-10 hours straight in direct sunlight and normally, with a T-Shirt, I would be absolutely burnt to a crisp and drenched in sweat. I've experienced heat fatigue symptoms standing in lower temperatures, drinking gallons of water and gatorade.I bought this to keep the sun off of me. I will say it does an AMAZING job keeping me cool. I can still feel heat from the sun, but I'm not getting roasted. I sweat, but not as much. The wind cools me right off. This is a god-send and I will likely order another 1 or 2 for multi-day track events!

Good Product, Not Hot, Wears Well, but Too Expensive
It's UA... They fit great, wear well, and are actually quite cool. I have to wear them at work for my tattoos, and I am naturally a hot guy, so I try to wear as little as possible in the summer. However, these cover my tats, and don't make me sweat profusely. The only thing that could be better is the price! I don't feel like I am getting my money's worth at $40+ per shirt - Presumably, we are paying for the name... I don't mind paying for a good product, but I feel like UA could make these, and probably do, for 1/4 or 1/8 of their cost, and still make a profit by cutting their price to the high $20's - mid $30's...

Super Comfortable and breathes very well
This is a great top. I had to replace my old Under Armour after a horrific accident and all my cycling gear was cut off me in the ER. This fits me perfectly and it is super comfortable. I'm 6' and around 185 pounds and I got an extra large and it is a bit loose but just what I needed. I wear it with a bib and a cycling shirt. Depending on temps, I will wear another sleeveless top over the bib and Under Armour. The shirt breathes very well. At the tops of hills I am always sweating and I don't mind that...but the shirt wicks quickly on down slopes.

Feels as comfortable as working shirtless
I wasn't sure that this shirt would work for what I needed it for. I work outside a lot in the heat and humidity of the Gulf Coast. I'm an HVACR technician, and I understand the wicking and evaporative cooling principles at work here, and evaporative cooling generally doesn't work well with high relative humidity.I've got some of the less expensive Under Armour compression shirts, but those don't seem to be that great at cooling if indeed they are meant to cool at all. In addition, those shirts have got short sleeves -- I've got a nice defined tan line on my arms from getting sun burnt just this past week whilst wearing one.I bought this shirt for those reasons -- I wanted to see if one of their shirts marketed specifically to be for cooling worked as advertised, but I needed long sleeves to protect my arms from the sun so that I could take off my heavy, 100% cotton uniform shirt to work in the sun. I'd worn this shirt several times without working outside much, but I worked a twelve hour shift yesterday on a 100 degree F supermarket roof getting blasted by the heat being exhausted by a 120-ton packed air conditioner and the condensers of several hundred horsepower of refrigeration equipment next to the unit. I removed my uniform shirt and worked in just this shirt until the sun went down, and I found it met my expectations. My goal wasn't to be cool like I was in the air conditioning, but to keep from losing too much fluid in my body's attempt to cool itself. Doubtless that part of this was just due to not wearing my uniform shirt, but I feel like wearing this shirt was more effective than working shirtless with the added protection of not getting sun burnt. I went through 3L of water, whereas I probably would've gone through twice as much normally under those extreme conditions. The evaporative cooling effect was immediately noticeable upon entering the building which was 74 degrees F and 68% relative humidity (that's high R.H. for a supermarket, hence why I was working on a Sunday). I noticed that it dried out completely several times. The shirt is extremely comfortable, even if the stares I got from some of the ladies who were shopping at the store and who apparently dig on dad-bods made me feel less than comfortable (bonus: this shirt will make you want to get in shape). There are huge tags that are sewn into a seam on the side near the bottom of the shirt, but they're made to be easily removed. The one thing that I have to knock this shirt for is the logo. It's in the middle and high up, so it shows prominently where my uniform shirt is unbuttoned. I wouldn't like this if I weren't wearing a uniform -- put your logo to the side, Under Armour. I'm not Superman, and that's distracting. Fortunately, they make a "tactical" version that lacks that attention-hogging logo for people who wear uniforms, and I'll definitely be getting more of those.

Under Armour Is The Only Brand To Buy
My husband uses the Under Armour Men's HeatGear Armour Compression Long Sleeve T-Shirts under his work uniform shirt. His job is very rough on clothes. The Under Armour brand stands up to the abuse and constant washing. Other cheaper brands seams fall apart within months. Under Armour holds up for years. Pay the few extra bucks as you will get a quality product. Size Large for 5'8, 190 pounds perfect fit.

Good for biking
6'2", 200 lbs. Size XXL. I wear these under short-sleeve bicycle jerseys. They wick well, keeping me cooler and drier in 85 - 100 degree weather. And they keep the sun off of my arms. They are tight, but feel comfortable. I forget about them almost immediately.
