This whole-wheat couscous has a pleasant brown color and a nice, slightly nutty flavor that we find more interesting than regular couscous that is more processed, pale, and bland.The particles are noticeably smaller than grocery-store couscous such as Indus brand or Trader Joe's (and obviously much smaller than the little spheres of pearl or "Israeli" style couscous). I don't think that is good or bad, just different.The bag had leaked slightly into the shipping envelope it was mailed in. This made a small mess to clean up when we opened the package, but we didn't lose much. The crinkly, thin plastic that the bag is made from tears so easily that it is not very useful for storage. We immediately transferred the couscous into a storage container, which we would probably have done anyway.Bottom line: We will likely buy this whole wheat couscous again. We'll just be more careful when we open the envelope.Update: When we had used up most of the couscous, I ordered another bag from the same seller. This time it arrived intact. I will order it yet again when we need more.

I bought this because it is whole wheat. The texture is finer that what I've gotten before, but it was quite good. The directions are written in Arabic and French, so make sure you know how to prepare it if you don't read either of these languages.

I disliked the fact that I received a damaged product I cannot use and cannot get a refund. The star I gave it is because a rating is required. The product I received warrants zero stars.

Not easy to find whole wheat so was glad to find this product. Very tasty. Will purchase again.

Every time I order tiny couscous online in one of these bags (versus heavy duty zip bags), the bag arrives torn with couscous spilling out all over. Huge mess, but most of it was still in the bag and I transferred it to a food storage container.The couscous itself is great!! I love being able to make a whole grain side dish in 5 minutes without cooking. Just pour boiling water on top, stir in salt, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, pepper, and some kind of dried herbs. Cover, let sit, fluff, enjoy.

It's very easy to make, has great texture when it's cooked and tastes amazing to me. I love the fact that it's whole wheat - pure goodness. Unfortunately, the bag arrived ripped and a small amount of couscous got spelt in the box in which the bag with couscous was shipped to me.

The couscous itself is great. But the packaging splits open so that couscous spills out all over the box. The last time I tried to order this, the leakage/spillage was so bad that the carrier refused to send the package on to me and Amazon sent me a refund instead. Please find a way to improve the packaging situation.
