Hours of trying to get a stuck CV joint off, I ordered one of these. Arrived the next day and with 15 minutes the CV joint was on the floor... Happy Days. It is simple to use and worked, the only reason it took 15 minutes was it kept slipping on the drive shift and I wasn't sure if the securing bolts could take the pressure to stop the slip without threading... but they did!Hand down the best money I've spent... Strong quality at a great price and delivered the next day... What more can you ask? Highly recommend for any toolbox.

So it turns out that universal clearly doesn't mean what I thought it meant as this tool will not fit over my CV joint, which is kind of important when that's what the tool is for. It's a peugeot 407 so isn't exactly some unique build rare car with oddly sized joints so now I'm back to a hammer, grazed knuckles, prayers and swearing, £20 lighter of pocket with another useless tool in my garage that I'll now never use but save because 'I might need it one day'.

Removed a cv joint from a vw drive shaft to renew a rubber seal . The tool did the job well.

Purchased to remove an outer CV joint from a 2018 Renautl Clio. The tool itself is sturdy but the surfaces that bear on the the driveshaft are too small. Even when doing up the bolts to a ridiculous tension (they also don't look like hi-tensile bolts but might be) the tool just slides on the driveshaft. It might work if your joint is easily removed but where its needed for a tight CV, it was not up to the job. I did check the specs and the driveshaft dimension we had was well in tolerance for this tool. I probably should have returned it.

Will not work on Renualt espace,the puller is to small/narrow.
