Who ever thought this would work out? I certainly didn't, so I was so pleasantly surprised at how well it cook the pasta with the time suggested. If people experienced problems, it was more than likely their microwave.I just love it how easily it cleans up and stores.What a great purchase and time saver it is!

use it almost everyday to make my meal, with this product my cooking process became way simpler. I do not have to use the stove and wait for the water to boil then put in my pasta. I would say this product shorten my cooking time by half. Highly recommend and I can not live without it.

I make all my pasta in this now, and it's so much better than waiting for water to boil in a pot. It shaves a good 10-15 minutes off cooking time.That being said, where this falls short is both on instructions and cleaning it if you add sauces to your pasta in the container.There are no time or portion recommendations for anything except spaghetti. I ended up having to hunt down and print out a pasta time guide from the fasta pasta maker - which isn't a good look for a company if people have to go to a competitor for information. Adding a time rec guide would do this company a big favor.If you add sauces into the container for your pasta, it can be difficult to clean - which is not the cookers fault in itself, as it is made just to cook the pasta, but if you are looking to save dishes and eat your pasta with sauce right out of the container, it can be hard to clean the sauces off. I tend to soak it if I have cheese or alfredo sauce to make sure it cleans okay. Otherwise it can tend to stick and leave a greasy feeling.I find that I don't have to measure water in specific amounts for pasta. As long as the pasta is covered entirely by a small layer of water, I've never had any issue with there not being enough. It always seems to cook through just fine.So far I have used this for angel hair, rotini, penne, shells, and macaroni. Everything has cooked through perfectly and does not come out sticky or starchy.Oh, and word of advice - do NOT make the same mistake I did and cook it with the lid on. I did not notice this in the instructions, and the lid warped a bit and does not click flat onto the base for straining anymore. Always cook with it off!

it's perfect for one or 2!! You don't have a big pan to clean up, or boil-overs on the stove. The pasta is cooked perfectly (may have to tweak the time a little depending on the power of the microwave). Fits easily on the top rack of the dishwasher and takes up such a small space in the cupboard. Great invention!

Brought this pasta cooker to see just how well it would work. Well only took one use to find out to does a very good job of it. The suggested cooking times will produce a firm cooked pasta. I add an extra couple of minutes for a softer pasta. Because I’m the only person in my house who loves pasta this is perfect, cooking up a single serving is a breeze and cleanup is quick and easy. Like not having to boil a large pot of water for just one person. Highly recommended.

I purchased this as a replacement for an "older version" of the same product type. I found an "Old friend!" This saved me while cooking pasta on the hot days of summer! The price was affordable, and it was so easy to use!

It does work, you can cook the pasta in the microwave. The only problem is that I put the measuring tool in the dishwasher. it says that is a dishwasher safe, but the writing on the measuring part got erased.

Easy to clean it’s fast no work really not sure on time on directions but I put a whole box in and put in the microwave for 20 minutes while I watch tv then sometimes I poor my sauce into the container on the noodles sometimes I separate the sauce it works really good I don’t really see any difference in microwave or stove so it’s just easier way and easier clean up.
