My cat doesn't mind the taste and it seems to be working. He's able to go up and down the stairs now.
My eldest cat is 14 and has severe arthritis in his hind end. Because he's kind of barrel chested it makes it really hard for him to get up and go up and down the stairs. He stopped using the stairs for nearly 9 months, then after about a month of Synflex he was back to going up and down an entire flight. He takes it slow, but still - he's doing it. The Synflex along with some heating pads (K&H Pet Bed Warmer, 13 Watts, Large, 11 By 24 Inches) let him live comfortably.I dose him 1-1.5 ml every day using an oral syringe. I squirt it in slow because cats aren't meant to take more than 1-1.5 ml liquid at a time. He doesn't seem to mind the taste and because of how the bottle is made it's really easy to fill the mini reservoir to fill the syringe.Overall a great product and I definitely recommend it for feline arthritis. One thing to note: do NOT give the Synflex 1500 to your pets, it has white willow bark in it (aspirin), which is toxic to pets. Stick with the pet version only.

Helps your older pet
I use to use this for my older dogs and now I use it for my older coatimundi. I saw him struggling to move and seemed so sore. I thought I would use this for him as it worked great for my dogs and now he is going up and down a full flight of stairs. I just want him to get the best out of his life as he is healthy in every other way just moving like an old animal, this seems to give him some relief.

I can see a difference in my labrador retriever already...
I'd noticed that my 7 year old labrador retriever seemed a bit stiff in the mornings, and after long car rides and so on. Slow to go up the stairs, and doesn't jump up on things quite as easily as she used to. On a whim, and based on the good reviews here, I decided to order the Synflex Liquid Glucosamine Arthritis formula for Dogs and Cats to see if it might make a difference.Well, I've only had this for a week, and I can see a big difference in her already. She's spending way more time outside playing and running around, and the morning stiffness is going away. I can't believe it...she's following me around in the kitchen and acting all playful and happy again. This is the first product I've ever tried for her, and I must say I'm very glad that I got this stuff. It's easy to use and I like the design of the bottle - there's a handy measuring chamber that makes it simple to get the right dose and simply pour over her dinner.Speaking of which - she's always been very fussy about treats and foods...she won't eat most of the usual commercial dog treats, and can be very 'picky' about stuff like that, so I was a bit worried she wouldn't like the taste and refuse to eat it. Well, that's not the case...she seems to like the taste of it just fine. I have no idea what flavour it is, but she's quite happy with her new 'sauce' on her meals.Highly recommended. This product made a noticeable difference in a very short time (just a week so far), and I'm quite pleased.

dosage conversion for weight of small pets
I found it impossible to convert the dosage weight chart to accommodate my little 6 pound Maltese. I feel it's really not fair for me to asses the progress for her. However... 20 years ago, the formula worked wonders for my 13 pound, 14 year old Mini Schnauzer. Within a month, she began running up the steps with the ease of a 5 year old. Wishing everyone's pet great success using Synflex.

Huge difference in my chihuahua
This has made such a big difference to my chihuahua. He would hold up one of his back legs any time he trotted or ran. Used for a couple of weeks and now rarely raises his leg. He will be on this for the rest of his life!!!! Great product. My sister used this with her long haired German shepherd and it also helped him immensely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

Good product but not working with my dogs
I have Malamutes. One has some arthritis in her front ankles, and the other had to have surgical repair for a torn crucial ligament. The vet suggested this, especially for the one with the arthritis. It took me a bit to figure out to dispense it as there are no instructions on the label. You tilt and squeeze the bottle and then the one side takes up the liquid. There are dose lines to guide you.The dogs like the taste, but they hate wet dog food. Since the best way to deliver the medicine is on their food, this was a problem. I’d pour the dose over their kibble, but they’d only eat until the kibble got mushy and would then stop. They’re Malamutes, so they eat Orijen 6 Fish - high protein, high fat, no wheat or corn, no domestic animals (beef, chicken, lamb), lots of fruits and veggies - which works well with their more primitive digestion. The smell of the Synflex isn’t bad until it’s poured over the fishy dog food. So, I can understand why they wouldn’t like it. I found a combination of two other supplements that are really helping with inflammation and joint movement. Those are pills that I can put in a spoonful of peanut butter and go right down. It’s all about what your dog will actually be willing to put inside them. For my dogs, this didn’t work.

Works
Have been giving this to our female German Shepherd for many years. She is 12 years old and still going strong. I mix it once a day in her food and she eats it with no issues. Plus I find it easier to give to her than pills.
