I have been using this product for over 26 years with amazing results I had a dog with a luxating patella and after using this product for 3 months I never saw the luxating patella issue EVER AGAIN and she lived until she was 23 1/2 years old. I currently have a black lab whose elbows use to pop but after one bottle of this product they no longer pop. I use this for all my dogs as a preventative. It helps with their mobility and helps to keep their joints strong and pain free. Almost no odor but my dogs love the taste of it

I can see a difference in my labrador retriever already...
I'd noticed that my 7 year old labrador retriever seemed a bit stiff in the mornings, and after long car rides and so on. Slow to go up the stairs, and doesn't jump up on things quite as easily as she used to. On a whim, and based on the good reviews here, I decided to order the Synflex Liquid Glucosamine Arthritis formula for Dogs and Cats to see if it might make a difference. Well, I've only had this for a week, and I can see a big difference in her already. She's spending way more time outside playing and running around, and the morning stiffness is going away. I can't believe it...she's following me around in the kitchen and acting all playful and happy again. This is the first product I've ever tried for her, and I must say I'm very glad that I got this stuff. It's easy to use and I like the design of the bottle - there's a handy measuring chamber that makes it simple to get the right dose and simply pour over her dinner. Speaking of which - she's always been very fussy about treats and foods...she won't eat most of the usual commercial dog treats, and can be very 'picky' about stuff like that, so I was a bit worried she wouldn't like the taste and refuse to eat it. Well, that's not the case...she seems to like the taste of it just fine. I have no idea what flavour it is, but she's quite happy with her new 'sauce' on her meals. Highly recommended. This product made a noticeable difference in a very short time (just a week so far), and I'm quite pleased.

SYNFLEX AND HIP DYSPLASIA
My dog was diagnosed at the age of 10-months with severe hip-dysplasia. The Vet recommended an expensive surgery we couldn't afford. I read up on what little else there was to offer for this condition. The ingredients in Synflex were recommended by many people (and vets) who had dogs with the same problem. All you can do with hip-dysplasia without surgery, is to try to slow the degeneration down and use pain medications that can sometimes have side effects. I first used Synflex liquid that humans took for arthritis, because it could be used on pets too. That was approximately 3-years ago. My dog Luci, is doing well. She's four years old and runs, climbs stairs and jumps, which we try to stop her from doing, but she is still very active. She does get some stiffness after laying down and favors her right hind leg some, but I credit Synflex with her doing as well as she is. Synflex Pets is what I buy now, which still has the Glucosmine and Chondroitin as the other Synflex, but the flavor smells like beef and is something my dog will take mixed in her food. I use to mix the other Synflex with yogurt so my dog would eat it. I would recommend Synflex Pets for anyone who has a dog with arthritis or hip dysplasia. It helps to alleviate some of the pain or discomfort of these conditions and I feel improves the quality of their life. It's not a cure-all, but I feel it is worth the money to try and Amazon's got the best pricing around.

Back to Zoomies in Just Daysโฆ Chihuahua Approved
If I could give this a million stars I would! I picked this up for my 8 year old chihuahua who had started showing some stiffness in her back legs. If you have chihuahuas, you already know how quickly that can go downhill. She was avoiding stairs, struggling a bit to get up from laying down, and just seemed hesitant to move around like her usual sassy self. What we were getting from the vet was not making much of a difference, so I figured it was time to try something new. I will say this right up frontโฆ I was not expecting to see results this quickly. Within about four days, I noticed an improvement in her range of motion. By the end of two weeks, she was acting like a completely different dog. She went from carefully tiptoeing around to running outside with her sisters and even using the stairs again. This formula is very concentrated, so a little really does go a long way. I actually give her less than the recommended amount for her size and it has still been very effective. Definitely pay attention to dosing because you do not need much, especially for smaller dogs. Another huge win is that she takes it without any fuss. If you know chihuahuas, you know they can be tiny, adorable food critics with very strong opinions. She takes it directly from an oral dropper and she does not hesitate! This would mix easily with food. They love the taste! The ingredient list includes glucosamine, chondroitin, Boswellia, yucca, and manganese, all aimed at supporting joint health and mobility. I did see another review mention shark cartilage in the product, but I could not find anything on the bottle or verify that claim anywhere else. Based on what I can see, the listed ingredients are straightforward and clearly labeled. I am genuinely impressed with how well this has worked for my little Raya. She seems happier, more comfortable, and back to her normal energetic self. Seeing her run around again instead of hesitating to move has been the best part. If you have a small dog starting to show signs of stiffness, this is definitely worth considering.

My cat doesn't mind the taste and it seems to be working. He's able to go up and down the stairs now.
My eldest cat is 14 and has severe arthritis in his hind end. Because he's kind of barrel chested it makes it really hard for him to get up and go up and down the stairs. He stopped using the stairs for nearly 9 months, then after about a month of Synflex he was back to going up and down an entire flight. He takes it slow, but still - he's doing it. The Synflex along with some heating pads ( K&H Pet Bed Warmer, 13 Watts, Large, 11 By 24 Inches ) let him live comfortably. I dose him 1-1.5 ml every day using an oral syringe. I squirt it in slow because cats aren't meant to take more than 1-1.5 ml liquid at a time. He doesn't seem to mind the taste and because of how the bottle is made it's really easy to fill the mini reservoir to fill the syringe. Overall a great product and I definitely recommend it for feline arthritis. One thing to note: do NOT give the Synflex 1500 to your pets, it has white willow bark in it (aspirin), which is toxic to pets. Stick with the pet version only.

Good for dogs, not my cat
My experience with Synflex Liquid Glucosamine: Good for dogs, not for my cat. After a recommendation from another pet owner that had a dog with arthritis, I decided to try this for my cat. She said it worked well for her dog that had many problems with mobility, & she said it was a great help for her dog. I have a senior cat, who within that past 2 years, started having issues with his back to legs. My vet said his arthritis has been progressing slowly. My cat is on a wet food only diet due to other issues with urinary cystitis (& I don't feed him treats or any table food.). The bottle is nice & its easy to measure & pour onto his food to mix in. Unfortunately, each time I would give it to him, he would throw up. After the first time, I waited a few days not knowing if it was due to this product or something else? Next time, gave him smaller dose, & he threw up again. Tried that 2 other times, with same outcome. For some reason, he was unable to tolerate it. With over 3/4 of the bottle unused, I ended it donating it the local animal shelter. I've read good reviews about Synflex, & my client said it worked for her dog, so maybe it works better for dogs than cats? Or maybe it was just my cat couldn't tolerate it? I give it 3/5 stars because although it didn't work for my cat, others have said it has for their pets. If you have an arthritic pet, I'd still say its worth a try because if you can find a natural supplement (or non drug/prescription meds) to keep your pet going, its worth a try. If they offer a money back guarantee, I'd definitely say it's worth a try.

Fantastic, more natural arthritis treatment product
We have an AMAZING 5 year old black lab rescue dog that was found run over as a pup and has had 3 hip/knee surgeries so far in the 4 1/2 years since we adopted him. I have been giving him Glucosamine, fish oil and Vitamin C and watching his weight. Occasionally he would need baby aspirin if visibly sore. Over the past winter and spring he began limping terribly, wincing in pain constantly, having difficulty walking (summer deep water swimming and daily leash walking are his only exercise) and was on Metacam every day. I wanted to try to wean him from the Metacam to a more natural form of medicine because he is so young. I tried Synflex and cannot tell you how grateful I am for it (and all the reviews that swayed my decision to try it). Since being on a daily dose for over 6 months now (in addition to maintaining the cod liver oil and Vitamin C I have always given him) he is doing fantastic. He has not received one dose of Metacam for at least a month! That is extraordinary for him. He is happy, bouncy, no limp whatsoever and back to his young self :) Priceless.

Seems to relieve arthritic pain.
I am using this with my female Siamese cat. She has bad arthritis. It took a couple weeks for Syn-flex to kick in, but after upping the dose JUST A BIT, she responded well. She never used to be able to jump up on the sofa without crying and taking 3 or 4 attempts before actually jumping. Now she no longer cries and jumps up on her first attempt. I am thankful that Syn-flex has given her relief from the arthritic pain.
