Light weight and small great for travels and close repeater work!
The antenna is much smaller then I thought it would be. Then after leaving it on my car for a week and traveling beyond the speed limit at 180 miles a day to work and back, I noticed that it was still on top of the car and had not moved at all. Not the best gain but better then hold the HT and less fading. Just treat it nice and be gentle with it.. It works good for the money. It does tend to favor 440 over 2 meter band.

You get what you pay for
Magnet does hold, range os better with a rubber antenna, learned a valuable lesson. Spend the extra $30 and get a decent one even if you have to buy the adapter to switch. Very cheap you get what you pay for.

So happy I choose to buy this one.
Perfect reception. Works great. Simply remove from wrapper, set on surface and attach to radio.. Works great. The magnetic strength could be a little stronger, but haven't had any issues yet.. Love it :D

Smaller then a pencil
It's tiny but does help with getting antenna out of inside the metal box

Needs a stronger magnet
Works as good as the handheld antenna on the radio itself. Magnet works but I would appreciate a stronger magnet. I don't need to run it 90 MPH down the highway strong magnet but it should take some force to move it, not a brush of the hand. I mounted it outside the window of my office and a strong wind knocked it loose. I 3D printed a bracket and added some much stronger magnets. ($4 bucks in PLA and magnets)Again, works but needs better magnets.

Small, VERY SMALL
I really don’t think it will stay on my roof of my car. I don’t know why it is sooo small!I took a photo of my radio with its antenna. Here is a picture of my baofeng radio’s antenna and two quarters. ???????

Crystal clear and a wider range.
I got two of the same scanners put the antenna on one and could tell the difference with them both on. I like using the all-time weather feature on them. It is very clear now with this attached. Built in magnet to stick it on my truck roof. i have only my city programmed in my scanner. i can travel well outside my normal reach with this antenna and still pick up my local police, fire, and rescue. side note on scanners.. Being battery operated, during a power outage, snowstorm caused us to be out for three days. Having them made us feel connected. As they worked to clear streets and return power. we knew when, and what streets they were on and fixing next.

Gets superior ground that blows away rubber ducky antenna at Rx faint signals clearly
This is a very nicely sized antenna, especially for UHF. It is way better at recieving faint signals than the best quarter wave whip antennas for HTs, the fact that this antenna is grounding on the car roof does wonders. It is way better at recieving than the stock rubber ducky antennas for HTs like the Baofeng UV-5R. This antenna makes my UV-5R perform like a professionally installed police UHF radio. Don't believe the haters, and guys that wanted longer antennas for the sake of being what they expect an antenna should be in appearances.
