Asus quality
This was the motherboard for my new build. I have used Asus before and the quality has always been excellent. You pay a little more for Asus but then this is the most important component in your computer. Matched it up with a Ryxen 5 3600 cpu and WD Black 750 SSD hard drive and GSkill ram. I am not into gaming or RGB fancy stuff. I just want reliability and speed. The speed is incredible, it is very quiet and it looks great. Everything worked at start up and did not have to do any troubleshooting. Very pleased. Always go with Asus.Update - It's been over 3 years now and this motherboard and my new computer have run flawlessly. Getting ready to build a computer for my son in law and will use ASUS again.

Budget without sacrifice.
I bought this motherboard back in 2019, and have upgraded from a 3600x (when I first got the board) to a 5600x recently. Still using it, still going strong. It had just came out when I originally got it and there were some growing pains like all the other x570 platforms. But I'm happy to say all the bugs are pretty much kinked out. The only one I still experience is getting into the bios, sometimes the keyboard isn't recognized and I have to pop it into another usb to get it to work. (Or you can shift click the restart button to get into the bios.) I honestly don't really blame asus for this one, x570 has been plagued with usb problems since launch. It had been 10 years since motherboard manufacturers had to worry about integrating a new pcie standard. My computer actually fell off my bed smashed into a stud and left a dent in the dry wall, the case went from rectangle to a trapezoid shape and the X570-P survived. It's fair to say the build quality on this thing is excellent lol.Buildzoid said they're using the same components on the high-end asus boards as they do on this board, which was a pleasant surprise to you know that asus won't reduce the quality of it's components to meet a certain price point, but also that you won't be limited in the quality of overclock you can obtain.Sure the GFX card will cover the chipset fan, but they also do on most other boards of this size as well. Also there's a good chance the fans from your gpu will assist in the keeping it cool. Hasn't been an issue. If you're wondering if you'll regret buying this guy, versus some of the flagship boards, you won't. Not all of us need, wifi (pssh on a desktop?), a bunch of usb-c connections or fancy m.2 heatsinks.

Great board, wish it had wifi
Great board, but wish I read further and knew it didn't have wifi or Bluetooth. Cannot get my TridentZ NEO memory to DOCP to its rated speed with a Ryzen 9 3900X, can only get it to 80% of the memory's rated speed. Overclocked the Ryzen 9 to 4GHz and runs stable. RGB control is cool, works great. Industrial quality power to the CPU, better than most other boards. Wish it had a TPM chip, had to get that separately for BitLocker. Works great with NVMe drive for system boot drive, and regular SATA drive for data. Blazing fast boot-up and app launch. Great price point for what you're getting as of early 2020. RealTek audio is flaky when stressing the CPU and GPU simultaneously, so I'll probably get an external sound device. Otherwise no complaints.BTW, there's what appears to be RGB lighting on the board fan cover, but that is constant and does not change colors with any settings.

Not a dud. :p
My 13 year old computer finally bellied up over a month ago, so I needed a new computer. After spending hours using a really old laptop (1.2ghz slow little thing) I finally decided on this board. After waiting a week for it, I finally got it today. I added a Ryzen 5 3600X, SSD, etc...plugged in the power. I love the soft blue glow...but that is all. The chipset fan spun for a second and then nothing. I have spent the last few hours trying to troubleshoot the thing, had "computer gurus" giving me advice and we have all come to the conclusion the board is bad. Now Amazon doesn't have any boards to replace this one with or will take another two to three weeks to ship. No thanks. I need a computer NOW. This laptop just isn't cutting it. :pEdit: It's not a dud. Apparently, I'm the dud. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong and got it to work. This is an amazing motherboard...just check the specs at the Asus site and make sure you get the proper, Asus approved memory. Works fantastically with Ryzen 5 3200X CPU.
