Not worth the money. The quartered hearts of other brands are better than these bottoms

I love artichokes...
...but I don't care for the stringy texture of the hearts. These bottoms have a nice texture and great flavor. I've used them baked, broiled, sauteed, stewed, and raw. Highly recommend.

these are ok in taste
loved that i received all indented cans for once, like another reviewer also mentioned. in flavor they are quite good, i would say a 4/5. however, some of them, maybe less than a quarter of them overall, had a sort of naturally occurring darkish and slightly prickly substance on the very bottom that although edible, i preferred to remove and cut off before eating them, so that was a bit annoying. overall, i would not buy them again for the current price. these are way better than the half dented flavourless brazilian roland brand ones though. i would suggest going with the cento 12 pack ones instead for about a dozen extra bux, even though i have not tried that also spanish brand of them yet. i do know that cento is the standard in canned san marzano tomatoes for like pizza sauce though, so i would kind of suggest trying those instead of these if you do not want to be kind of disappointed.

Did not know these existed. They are great to stuff without all the work with a full artichoke. Can be stuffed many ways. Check Pinterest.

Great for stuffing!
Used them for Easter Sunday appetizers. Butter poached until warm and then added the crab mix. Popped in oven and cooked for 15 minutes. They were perfect
