Tandy Leather Eco-Flo Gel Antique 8 oz Med. Brown 2607-03

The antique brown adds a cool aged look to my knife sheaths that I really like. Great stuff.

I Love the look this gives my pieces! It is my go-to. You can wipe off some of it quickly for a lighter look or keep layering it on there for a deeper brown.

Perfect for my project

and I got 3 different results from 3 different attempts. I was hoping this product would give results similar to what I got from a much older (1983) Tandy antique stain (I still have a tablespoon or so left). One of the 3 attempts yielded the desired effect (antiquing), the other 2 didn't. It doesn't seem to work well with resist, my best result was working the stuff in, wiping excess, waiting a few minutes, then attacking the leather with damp paper toweling until the raised areas were somewhat cleaner.I would recommend this as a combination dye & antique. I would NOT recommend this for contrast-dyed work, at least not in this color.

I would like to say that I am just a beginner in the leatherworking world but I sure do love this stuff. It is a beautiful color and can make any leather project look nice. Just make sure you know how to use it. But I totally recommend this product.

Easy to apply and has an old west look but it helps to have good quality leather

when i ordered this gell i was expecting medium brown. but this thing is real dark . after few days it gets lighterr but not much. anyway i like results very much it gives real antique feel. only downside is that because its dark, carved image is not so visible as it would be with lighter dye. at this moment im using this gell on 80% of my products and i am happy with it.
