Worked pretty well in our 4-month-old baby's stroller in Florida in ...
Worked pretty well in our 4-month-old baby's stroller in Florida in May. The first day we used it in his infant car seat while walking around and it was too bulky (I think it almost made him hotter because he was squished in there!). After that we used it in his stroller and it did seem to keep him cooler and his clothes weren't sweaty when we picked him up. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the mesh on the top is a little rough. We put a baby blanket over it and then sat him down on top of that.I would NOT get this to put in a car seat for use while actually driving. It is way too bulky and I wouldn't feel like I had the straps tightened correctly. Just my personal opinion! Great for use outside of the car though!

we have had to take a break every 30 mins to cool her down and try to get her back into ...
My 7mo old hates the bucket car seat because it gets really hot in there. Even while blasting the air conditioner with a vent right over her seat, tinted windows, and a mesh window cover, we have had to take a break every 30 mins to cool her down and try to get her back into the seat. With this cover, we have been able to go 3 hrs without any complaining or sweating. The only reason we stop now, is for diaper change or feeding. The material is very rough, and we were worried it would be too abrasive, but we found the headrest in the Chicco key fit 30 can be put on top of this. The outer fabric material is similar to the mesh laundry basket material. The middle "stuffing" is a coiled plastic that keeps the shape fairly rigid so there is room for air to flow. There's a lot of safety concerns with adding "padding" since it can alter the crash properties of the car seat, but I can't find an alternative that is truly safe. I wish Chicco would take the heat issue into consideration when designing the car seat.I gave the product 4 stars mainly because it is a very rough material. But it definately keeps my baby cool.

It actually works!
I was skeptical about this product but since it received such amazing reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. My baby is "warm blooded" and no matter what, he sweats in his carseat... even with the AC on. I put the cooling seat pad on his carseat (fits perfectly), took him on a 30 minute ride (with AC on), took him out of the carseat, and he was dry. Since it was only 30 minutes I was still skeptical. So, I took the seat pad off, strapped him back in his seat, and drove another 30 minutes still with the AC on and sure enough his back was all sweaty. So the product actually works!! Just as other parents mentioned, the fabric is a tad rough, so I also took away 1 star. However, I would still recommend this to family and friends.

I didn't think this would work, but it did!
We use this in a baby bike trailer.During the summer, our 15 month old little girl would sweat like crazy, she'd get fuzzy and would end up not enjoying the rides much. After installing this (took 2 seconds), she was able to enjoy, without getting crazy hot. As you can see... she'd enjoy and relax so much, she'd always end up falling asleep.Great buy! Please hit "YES" If this helped you make a decision!

we love these so much we ordered two and use one in his bassinet as well. he naturally runs a bit hot, but these keep our four month old comfy. far less sweaty in his carseat. one side is rougher than the other and even then it's not terribly soft, but never seems to bother our son's skin (he isn't sensitive, though). one time, his shirt crept up and the exposed skin looked like snake skin (pattern) when we lifted him. his head and cheecks dont do that (not enough pressure on them, I imagine.) anyway, well worth it. they wash well by hand and dry quickly. we are fans!

it was a good purchase. We purchased this for our BOB stroller ...
While this item is pricey for what it is, it was a good purchase. We purchased this for our BOB stroller to be used at Disney World in July. I chose this over a cooling pad because it doesn't have to be frozen, and I knew a cooling pad would lose its coolness after only a brief time in the Florida summer heat. We did also use a small stroller fan, but this did seem to help my daughter stay cooler. She was even able to catch a few naps in her stroller throughout the day and not get overheated. We have kept it in our stroller in summer and winter and she is much more comfortable temperature wise, she used to be covered in sweat before and now she isn't!

Works to keep baby from sweatting, kind of rough material
I have now used this numerous times for 30-45 minute drives in 90 degree heat in a car that doesn't have rear A/C and my 3 month old hasn't sweat! It works great at keeping him dry, but I did knock it down 1 star because it's not a soft material. The mesh is a nylon. It doesn't seem to be uncomfortable to my son, but it will leave the netting marks imprinted on his legs if he's not wearing shorts. Fits great in the Graco Snugride carseat.

Keep your baby dry and cool! Really does work.
I don’t write reviews very often, but I had to write one so that other moms/dad could benefit from this amazing liner. I searched for so long to find a good car seat liner that actually worked and this is it. Taking my son on walks in his car seat stroller during the hot summer days left him soaked by the end of the walk. We used this yesterday morning and absolutely love it. It was about 80 degrees outside and we walked for about 45 minutes. When I took him out of the car seat his back was completely dry and he was able to comfortably nap during the walk because he stayed cool. I also washed it on ‘delicate’ and it held up just fine. Fit my babytrend car seat perfectly. You’re baby needs this!
