Amazing.
I'm far from being a mechanic, and this install took me 10 minutes (removing the oem rusted muff from my jeep took me 1 hour -- I had to manually saw and Dremel through the bolt.)This muff sounds AMAZING, I go out for a joy ride just for the sound ! Would buy again. Hopefully will last long, time will tell.

Beautiful Build Quality
There is not a muffler made (for a Jeep) that's worth nearly $700.00, but I paid it, so I suppose I shouldn't complain...The build quality of the muffler is incredible. The finish looks like it will last and not burn off anytime soon. Beautiful welds and no sharp edges. A nice, clean finish and a solid, hefty feel when mounted up.The tips are not even/flush when mounted, but that is dependent upon the pipe leading back to the muffler. If you are doing a Saturday afternoon, driveway muffler swap and do not have the ability to make exhaust bends, you might be stuck with the uneven look. Nothing that I could do made the tips extend out the back evenly. I'm not worried about it. Maybe someday if the muffler is still presentable and functional and I replace the exhaust pipe, I'll work with it. Otherwise, it's uneven...I installed new hangers using Vaseline to prep (it won't attack rubber and will dissipate). Everything went into place fairly easily. Make sure to clean-up the end of the exhaust pipe and smear some (copper-based) anti-seize around the end. The clamp that comes with the muffler is high-quality. It will squeeze down nicely.Either I got used to the sound after a week or two, or the muffler finally burned in, but it seemed to mellow after a few hundred miles. I think when you first install a sound device (high-flow muffler), you squeeze the throttle down and wring out the gears a bit more. That affects mileage. After you settle down and/or outgrow the thrill, MPGs do seem to improve slightly. I installed a Flow-Master CAI a week later and noticed a slight fuel mileage improvement. The sound also seemed to be fuller and not quite as "out-the-back." Yes, it droans! Anything other than factory is going to droan. It's just a matter of whether you tolerate the sound, or not. I like the sound, but would not want to hear the sick-cow sounding shifts of an automatic transmission with this muffler. I enjoy the fact that my Jeep is a manual shift and that I can control the sound-effects with the throttle pedal. Just remember, it's like having headphones on... The sound you are hearing is in your head and will follow you everywhere you go. On the outside, the muffler isn't really that loud. After you go a few hundred feet down the road, no one can hear you and they don't really care about your Jeep's muffler or how cool you think it is. The black color looks good and the tips have a nice angled cut. MagnaFlow seems to make high-quality products. This set-up is a perfect example. (2010 2-door Jeep Wrangler Sport, 3.8L, manual).

Savory, Mature Sound | Great Looking | Easy Install
Install: Invested in exhaust removal pliers as per the advice found in other reviews and the install was a breeze. Took 30 minutes in my driveway start to finish with no other special tools, alone. Without the removal pliers I would expect about triple the effort and double the time. I highly recommend getting a pair, even if it's a one time use item. They can be had for around $15-$20.Looks: As with everyone else my driver side tip hangs about an inch further out than the passenger side but with some finagling I'm confident I can get them lined up in the future. The black finish is beautiful and fitting on my 2011 JK. Make sure to leave the foam protectors on the tips during your install as others have suggested to prevent scratches. On sound: It's certainly not the high volume, crackle and pop hot rod sound I used to enjoy as a teenager but rather an adult, smooth and, savory growl. I love it, perfectly appropriate, not gaudy and a something that I'll enjoy listening to on long trips or commutes.Overall this is likely my favorite mod/upgrade to my Wrangler. I've no information on power/mileage increases and I wouldn't hold your breath on either of those if you're just going with the axle-back exhaust. This is purely a feel-good, sound-good and look-good upgrade. Totally worth it!

Looks great and sounds fantastic.
Looks great and sounds fantastic. The install is pretty easy and I had it installed in about a half hour on my sons 2013 JK. After seeing and hearing this muffler it is now on my wish list for my own JKU.
