Nice true blade
Got this to make sure my saw blade was true in my saw! Also am using the blade as a backing for 10” sanding disk, works great!!

Necessary tool.
Makes for easy alignment of tablesaw and miter saw blades. Worked well on Craftsman and Dewalt saws.

NOT beveled for edge sanding
I thought I read somewhere that one side of this was beveled/convex to use for cleaning up saw marks on the edges of boards. Its just flat on both sides so it wouldn't work nearly as well for that purpose.

Makes saw blade calibration easy
Before getting this calibration/sanding disk I had used a saw blade to check the alignment of the saw blade to the table tracks. When I used the new calibrate/sanding disk I found the alignment slightly off. Resetting the disk to the table tracks was very easy and accurate. It also doubles as a 10" sanding disk by using self sticking 10" sand paper. Be sure to clean the new disk with acetone so the sand paper will stay attached.

The most useful thing I've bought lately.
I just used this disc to align my table saw's sliding miter table, which is a complicated, multi=step process. It made an annoying chore much quicker and less frustrating and the miter gauge ended up dead-nuts at 90 deg. No longer necessary to rotate the blade with each measurement.The disk is heavy, nicely machined and dead flat on one side. It took me a while to discover that one side is very slightly convex. (I'm guessing the convex (label) side is for sanding - to lessen the chance of jamming,) But I'm going to use it only for calibrating my saws. I don't want to chance having it warp.

Makes a great sanding disc!
It is exactly what I was looking for! I installed it on an old belt/disc sander Probably 70s Harbor freight equipment. 10 inch PSA sanding paper discs fit just right, and saved me building a sander. I mounted it on my table saw to check the runout and it was only out a couple thousandths! Perfect for the equipment being used on.
