Worked with Logitech S-0155A Speakers
Kind of niche situation i needed this cable for but here I will share it. I have a pair of USB powered Logitech Notebook travel speakers that have really good audio quality for their size and I have them hidden behind my monitors attached with Adhesive. Now the problem I ran into was the linking cable between the two speakers was a 2.5mm mono cable that goes from one speaker to the other and it's quite short as it's technically meant for a laptop only.So I got this to extend the connection point from speaker to speaker so I can mount them on the back of each of my dual monitor set up and it extended the length perfectly. Worked like a charm and maintained my audio quality.Worked perfectly and maybe somewhere out there might be curious about this same situation. The Logitech speakers in mind are Logitech Model: S-0155A

Just what I needed.
High quality; low cost; perfect performance. Allowed me to extend the ir blaster cable on the Harmony Elite to control my Sony smart panel. Fine product

Only lasted about 6 months
I bought this cable to extend my pc speakers in my work office. It worked fine for a few months then the side with the female connector became very touchy and if you moved it the speaker would quit playing. A poor connector on the female end. I cant find one of these with gold plated ends, but there is a different one here on amazon so giving that one a try.

Poor quality, bought 2, neither worked.
Bought two of these and neither one worked. Dissected one to see what the problem was. Found a broken wire on the plug end. On the jack end, one wire didn't even get anywhere near a connection point. Junk.

Good cable but not a standard mini-pin.
My fault but I mistakenly confused this with a 3.5mm mini-pin design...which has been around for decades. Too inexpensive to send back but I have no idea what a 2.5mm cable would be used for. I'll keep it in my cable box. Looks like great quality.

Little things matter
So you say your Harmony hub IR blaster is not long enough to do it's job old son? Here's a fine solution if six feet is the amount of length that will make all right with the world. You might say "Just an extension cable, what's to review?"OK, let's go there. This is cheap and it works. Seems a set of concepts that aren't worth repeating but I have a bin full of cheap cables that did not work and a somewhat lesser bin of more expensive cables that did not work.It works. It's cheap. I'm happy.

Initial 2.5mm connection issue, but resolved
I bought this cable to use as an extension for the Harmony Hub IR Extender as reviewers of this product have successfully done. This cable is defective. It does not snap into any 2.5mm cable. As a test I tried to plug the female end into the male end of the same cable since they are both 2.5mm. I also tried plugging in other 2.5mm cables to both ends. All tests failed. Therefore both ends of the cable are defective.I have reached out to the seller for a tested working replacement and will update this review accordingly once the respond.UPDATE: I received a TESTED replacement from the seller within a few days of my initial review. Therefore, I have updated this review.
