I wasn’t sure if this would work with a UPVC door because of the way the door doesn’t sit flush to the frame.I can confirm that it does when placed on an angle as shown in the photos.The alarm is loud enough to wake you / alert you of the door being opened, but not loud enough to alert your neighbours.It was easy to apply with the sticky backs (no tools required).NB: The alarm stops sounding when the sensor is back next to the alarm. I have seen some that continue to sound once the contact is broken until reset, but these reset once the door is closed.

Want for the alarms because they were a good price for four. They arrived quicker then the original date given which is always nice. I didn't have any issues with two of the alarms but on the third alarm I had to use a metal ruler to pry the compartment off which now slides off fine, on the four alarm however I had to force the battery compartment off because there was glue on the inside of the battery compartment (shown in pictures) and the alarm isn't fixed properly, so sometimes it work and other times it doesn't. Overall they aren't too bad but if you order them be prepared for some issue's on one or two of them.

Hard to open, to put batteries in the alarms, I'm frightened we will break them,

Got these on my outside doors .Switch on and off as required.Very noisy and they have lasted a while.Easy to put together just hold the parts near each other until the work to your satisfaction then peel of backing paper and remove battery tab and you are good to go. Very good helpful company to deal with.
