This is the first time using this product and it is amazing! I started having poor circulation in my ankles and legs due to a new job where I was standing 9hrs a day on steel floors. I started noticing insidious vericose veins on my ankles, my ankles started swelling and I also noticed that my legs felt extremely heavy. I exercise fairly regularly and that helped a little with the swelling, but the veins were still macroscopic. I started researching online, stumbled upon HC on a Dr. OZ forum and decided to try it.The first dose of HC I took only one pill before I went to sleep. I did not experience any cramping or naseau, but I did feel an odd tingling sensation throughout my body. And I chalked it up to my body absorbing the HC for the first time -I haven't experienced this since the first time. I've been using HC for about 2 weeks now and I am very happy with the results. Those annoying veins have faded, and my ankles are back to their normal selves! I had a huge bulging vein on my ankle and I can barely see it now, or feel it like I used to! Sometimes I alternate with the amount of pills I take, but I only use HC once a day. If I take them in the morning, I take 2 pills. And if I take in the evening I will take one. I went with the middle of the road price for these. One of my doctors recommended this to me to use for my lower extremity swelling and it does seem to help with that but I'm also more diligent with other recommendations so not sure if its a combination of things. There really is no taste so that isn't an accurate question but they are easy to swallow.

I've tried almost every OTC cream, gel, pill, supplements, liquid, etc. All of them work to a degree more or less. Some better than others. The only thing that has worked long term for me is this supplement. Take 1 pill twice a day and within a week or two no issues. Basically if I have a flare up I order a bottle and finish it. Usually this give me at least 6 months of relief. For me it is not a perfect cure but having to use a bottle 2 months out of the year is better than a daily treatment.

One reviewer cautioned about Butcher's Broom so I checked to make sure the ingredients had not changed. This is one of the few companies that sell herbs that actually contains ingredients as listed. Many are fake because in herbs and capsules sold in USA, there's no FDA oversight. Especially common to receive counterfeit of good brand, or simply dried fake herbs in unfamiliar brands, here on Amazon.com. Genuine herbs come from either EU or Canadian company because they have government requirements and manufacturing plant inspection and products inspections like US does for food and medicine but not herbs and supplements

I almost never write reviews about anything but this time I just had to. I read about Horse Chestnut extract on a message site for a rare eye condition I have. I have had edema in my legs and ankles for many years, diuretics did not seem to help at all. After only a few days I had no swelling in my feet, ankles, or legs. It's almost too good to be true. I'm not usually a big believer in herbal treatments but this is one that really works. At the end of the day after sitting at a desk for 8 hours my legs feel great.
