Spanish Pomace oil is competitive
Usually, I’m buying Spanish product due to it’s competitiveness. This time, I tried this Italian product to find out the difference but unfortunately, I didn’t find much difference but I will rate this better than the Spanish brands of Pomace. However, Extra Virgin 1st Cold Press olive oil from Italy is much better than the available Spanish Virgin oil which is not suitable for all types of Frying. The Pomace oil is extracted from olives pulp after extracting the first cold press or other techniques (Virgin oil), then the mechanical extraction continues to get (Extra/Light Olive oil) - Once the mechanical oil extraction completes, approximately 5 to 8% of the oil remains in the pulp, which then needs to be extracted with the help of solvents or re-esterification processes, an industrial technique used in the production of most other edible oils available in India. Since this is extracted through a process using Solvents, hence this simply may not be called as "olive oil". This is because the International Olive Council defines olive oil as "the oil obtained solely from the fruit of the olive tree”, to the exclusion of oils obtained using solvents or re-esterification processes.I highly recommend to use Light/Extra light olive oil than the Pomace oil though the price difference is negligible. Although, both are recommended for Indian cooking mostly deep or normal frying but still I recommend not to use Pomace oil since it’s not olive oil may be it has 5% to 8% of olive oil only.If you like this review and useful just hit the useful block.

Go for it for deep fry.
Olive oil flavour was greatly missing. Colour was fine. Light on stomach and a good buy if you do not want the overpowering smell of olive oil in your dishes. Pouring out of the tin was easy and non messy.

Abie olive oil
Amazon and Abie has fooled me into buying this product. You'll assured me that 15% will be extra virgin olive oil. It turned out that it's 100% Pomace oil. That is not the way you conduct your business. I deal with Amazon because of the trust factor.Alas!! you have disappointed me. Please do not fool people. I expect you will not promote Abies in the near future

Quality and affordable
Packaging was very very good and product reached without any dent. As mentioned, the product is packed in Italy which guarantees genuineness. This is best and reasonably priced after discounts. Will go for it again.
