A must have addition for your havalon knife.
Bought these for making my havalon knife a dual purpose knife/saw for elk hunting. I have been fortunate enough to have to use this tool in that manner and it has performed wonderfully. The blade is long enough to allow a sufficient stroke when cutting leg bones and doubles for branches too if necessary. Well worth the price and you cant find a more compact saw on the market that works like these do.

A great little product all things considered!
The idea is awesome and overall it's a pretty solid product.There are a few drawbacks. A) Bone saw teeth are a bit too “grabby". While this gives it great cutting capability, it also causes the saw to catch. When the saw catches in a forward stroke the momentum of your hand has the chance of popping the saw out of the holder, creating a potentially dangerous scenario. B) while the saw is small and great for packability, this has drawbacks. It takes longer to cut through sternum, ribs, and pelvis than a traditional full size saw, and it tends to dull quicker than a full size saw (2 or 3 deer is about what I expect one would last, ive used it to completely butcher two deer so far) .Overall, I am extremely happy with this product. With a bit of safety consciousness it makes a great combination. I will continue to buy these blades as I need them, and be happy doing so!
