Excellent - a must have for safety
Purchased for my 92 year old mother who suffered a broken hip almost a year ago and upon returning home. We have used this unit for 9 months and with use of a baby monitor we are able to hear the alarm giving us notification that she is getting up, assuring us to go check on her and avoid any potential miss steps or falls. A great tool to have for added peace of mind and personal SAFETY.

Peace of mind!
We purchase this bed alarm as we were caring for our 90 year old mother to recover from a broken hip. This alarm works beautifully, we could not be more excited about it because we could sleep at night knowing she could not leave the bed without us knowing she was up. So we could sleep in peace and if she did get up all she had to do was lay down quickly and it would turn off. Great buy for the price.

Works Great
This has been such great addition to tools we use to care for my brother who has dementia. Anyone familiar with caring for a person with dementia knows it can be problematic when they like to get out of bed at night. This alarm signal is loud enough to wake you up, but not loud enough to wake the whole house. I'm very pleased with it since I believe it has already prevented a lot of injuries due to falls. It is easy to to position in the bed. The only thing that could be improved is the location of the switch to turn it off during the day. You have to take the alarm out of its holder, move the wire out of the way and locate the very tiny on-off switch. But the assurance that you can be aware of a loved one getting out of bed or out of a chair at irregular hours is worth the inconvenience. Also worth noting, this particular alarm doesn't come with a way to plug it into the wall, but relies on battery power. It does have a receptor for a plug if you have a variable adapter. Overall it has proven to be invaluable for our purposes.

Easy to install and alarm is loud.
Great for elderly use and alarm is heard from afar with closed doors. Great buy!

Worked good in the beginning but…..
After a month of using I could not turn it off once alarm was set off. Had to remove it bc no one got any sleep when it was set off and the button would not work to stop the alarm. Maybe mines is defaulted. Sad bc I did like the concept and it did allow me to make it to my dad’s room before he was off the bed. I’d recommend it if didn’t stop working for me for sure.

Great for my elderly Grandma
Same brand the rehabilitation center had on my Grandma's bed there. Perfect for it alerted us when she would start to try to get out of bed. Very important when patient is a fall risk. Worth every penny.

Does not work very long, less than a month
The alarm worked well for 2 weeks, now the alarm is so quiet you can barely hear standing next to it. I was very loud at 1st, but not now.

Slowed down
This is just what we needed. Working in the hospital we used this for our fall risk patients and after my grandmother with ALZ recently had a fall and broke her arm, this helped to know when she was on the move. She actually sat back down when she heard the alarm. No she is stronger and we no longer need it but will save it for future use.
