Birds cannot see glass. I live in an area with a lot of trees, which, in most light conditions, are reflected off the windows. Birds see these reflections and think they can fly through or land on a branch, only to discover that it is an impenetrable surface. For a bird, flying into a window is like a head-on collision.These reflectors help deflect birds, helping them to alter their flight path.While you do see the sticker on your window, it does not block your view or light, and helps protect birds from crashing into your windows.

Since I placed these on my windows there has been very few birds hitting the glass

We have a large window that unfortunately attracts birds. Several have hit it so hard that they passed away. These stickers have stopped all birds from hitting our window. They were super easy to install, affordable, and have lasted through 100°F weather, heavy rainstorms, and a microburst. They haven’t moved!

Dislike the appearance. I was under the impression that the stickers would be clear,instead they stand out. Looks like frosted glass stickers

These window stickers do appear to work with keeping birds from hitting the glass, so it does deserve at least 4 stars. For the stickers that came out okay (see below), I have no issues with.Reason for not giving a 5:* In one pack, the stickers on one side were not punched all the way through. Was able to cut one out but the 4th was too damaged to use.* Amazon listing states "Designed for a one-time application to exterior glass surfaces" which I guess you can take multiple ways. Seemed a little disingenuous as the instructions in the pack state the UV coating on the sticker only last for a little more than a season (haven't had them up long enough to know if they last significantly longer or not)

Highly recommend. The birds have stopped flying into the windows. We haven’t even had one. Initially I was off-put because directions say to place the stickers closer together than I was willing to do. I spaced the stickers 2 feet from one another all over the sliding doors and windows and this has worked quite well.

I have used these in the past, and they have been effective in keeping birds from flying into my windows. I bought all new sets and installed them and I have had more birds hitting my windows than before with the old ones. I’m wondering if they changed the quality or if I possibly received some old ones. I’m not happy with the performance at all.

These do the trick! We used to have 2-3 hard collisions a week as we live on the edge of the woods, have windows that see through to the other side, so we had to do something. Since applying these we have had 1-2 softer hits total in the month+ since they were applied (during migration season). I have seen birds avoid the window because they saw the square. I think these allow them to see the obstacle in time, if they miss it from a distance.We have tall windows and put them about 2/3 the way up so they wouldn't be directly in our view. Against the blue sky, they are often unnoticeable. They leave no residue and are attached almost by static. They can be moved around if you want to change the location. We have placed 1 on each window to start and plan to double up if necessary.Even bird safe glass has an effective rate of 70%-80% so I don't believe any glass is perfect but if your goal is to reduce collisions these are working very well for us.We are installing bird safe glass on a glass front building here and in certain light you can see the pattern from outside, so the hue (only in certain light) on the square from outside is consistent with that technology. I'm impressed they can mimic that technology on such an affordable, non invasive solution as these squares!
