Works well
I bought this flashlight to do UV-activated free radical polymerization in my lab when our $1000+ UV lamp crapped out. It has worked great for over a year now, I now own two so I always have one charged. If you leave it on for more than 4ish hours it gets really hot and the plastic bits around the lens can melt a little bit, but I wasn't supposed to leave it on that long anyway. I don't know how wide the spectrum is, but it activates very small concentrations of Irgacure 2959 so it is definitely outputting 365nm. Thanks for saving my PhD project. These flashlights have been my most reliable piece of lab equipment.

Does exactly what I bought it for
I bought this UV flashlight to cure optical UV adhesive for a microscope prism. It did the job as expected. In addition, the flashlight feels solidly built (it's aluminum with black finish), and easy to charge. The charging USB port has a rubber cover that seals well. It looks like it would be at least water resistant (rain).I had no way to test the actual wattage output of the light so i can't attest to that. I can feel warmth when I shine the light on my skin from 6 inches away.Incidentally, it's kinda fun shining around the house in the dark or outdoors at night, and seeing what stands out. Now when I clean the bathroom, I'll shine the light afterwards to see how bad of a job i did.

Helped me find my grandchildren
I bought this because my son has been acting werid and has brought this girl over atleast five times now and has closed his door every time she's over. So when he was at school I did a little investigation and found many stains on his bed sheets and on his wall. I asked him about those stains and he said he didn't know how they got there. I knew that he was lying so I told him if that girl comes over again please clean the sheets and walls.

very good long wave uv flashlight but goggles NOT uv protective
this little flashlight is powerful and works well but i have to warn you that if you use in your house you may be shocked by all the dust and stains it finds! i would give 5 stars but i am upset that goggles are NOT protective. this was promotion with flashlight. any uv blacking glasses will have that imprinted on glasses. these are just yellow, supposedly as enhancers.

Worked well
I can’t comment on the longevity as I’ve only had it a few days. But it worked as advertised to find dried places where the cat had peed in the past. It obviously lights up a lot of other stuff (fingerprints on the walls, mysterious old spills on the carpet) so you kind of have to have an idea what you’re looking for.

This is not a true 365nm ultraviolet light...
This flashlight relies on a cut filter to block out other light and then only show the 365nm. However there cut filter barely works. It's probably got just a regular cree type led bulb in there. I've got a real 365nm flashlight and it's a thousand times better then this.. You can't even feel any heat when you put it on your skin like if you pointed to your arm you feel no heat my other one that's the first thing you feel. So if you're trying to give yourself cancer with it it won't work. Is it bright yes but it's bright with all the extra light that you're not looking for when you buy a flashlight like this. Extremely disappointed. Yeah it's not going to work for what I need to work for. I should have known better than to buy this when I saw I had a lens filter on it. Improper 365nm LED does not need a cut filter. Not that this one even works. I'm sending mine back today to get my money back.

Strong light for the size.
This UV light feels well built and provides a very good amount of light for its size. I still feel it is a little costly but have not seen a better option in this category.

A decent UV flashlight that could be better
TATTU U2S UV FlashlightWhen you go through your home, after cleaning it, this flashlight will help you discover how well you did. If you’ve never used a Ultra Violet flashlight to scan your home, you will be shocked. Body fluids, including pet stains, will glow brightly and stand out. It can also be used to brightly glow other items designed to fluoresce. These could include psychedelic posters, paper money, some paint and clothing washed in certain detergents. Lots of items can glow under UV light. The fun part is discovering, just don’t look at or shine the light in people or pets eyes. This flashlight has a typical structure to a regular flashlight. It is a rechargeable device with an included 18650 battery, unlabeled so I’m not sure of the spec, and a mini USB cable. You can charge it in any regular voltage USB charger. There is a green LED by the switch to show the state of charging. It also has an included wrist tether to guard against dropping it. It is all black anodized aluminum and seems very rugged, though I didn’t do any drop tests. The charging port is covered with a silicone/rubber press fit cover. In long term use I’m not sure of the durability of this cover but I think it will last a good long time with careful use. If the battery ever fails to perform it is a readily available type on Amazon and other web sites but maybe not at the local store. The well positioned power switch is thumb friendly and a three position switch. It is Bright, Dim and Flicker in sequence. The flicker mode is a hold over from a typical flashlight (no SOS mode) and really not needed. There is a lot of spillover white light which will light your way in pitch dark but may not be optimal for use with entertaining glow tricks. It’s just too bright for fun things like glowing a poster. The room lights up too much. I’m not a UV expert but there must be a way to control this amount of extra light, it would be a great option. I found it was best to use at night in a dark room, that really enhances finding the dirt you are searching for.I like this UV flashlight a lot but would love for a future revision a simpler on/off switch, I found dim and flicker to be more annoying than useful and a way to control the excess light. The extra light was good to move around in the dark but in the way when just looking for glowing stuff. If that could be an on/off thing it would be perfect.
