Very effective, very messy, but works!!!
Product arrived as shown in picture, a small see-through, rectangular pouch with two compartments. One side was a clear liquid, the other a silver powder. They were separated by a sealed barrier. I prepped the work area with my tools: fine grit sandpaper, acetone for glass prep, paramedic scissors, a small piece of paper to mix it on and a heat gun. I sanded the copper traces and cleaned the area with acetone. Then I squeezed the pouch, piercing the internal barrier. I kneaded the liquid into the powder with my fingers. I worked the mixture until it was a slow moving paste. The previous tab had been ripped off by a bad tinting job, so there was copper missing from the rear glass. To solve this, I purchased a thin copper shim from the internet. The shim was twice the surface area of the missing glass copper. So, prior to the defroster repair, I soldered a small wire(the same diameter as the power supply wire)to the shim. I then applied the paste to the bottom of the copper shim in a heavy bead. I pushed the tab against the window and held it up with a small wooden dowel. With the other hand, I focused hot air with a heat gun directly on the copper shim. I held it there for approx. 5 to 7 minutes. I removed the heat, then continued to hold the copper shim against the glass. I placed some duct tape over the shim and wire and left it overnight. I came out the next day and removed the duct tape. The epoxy had hardened to the consistency of concrete. I placed the wire tab into the connection of the power wire and turned on the defroster. Success!!!

Doesn't work well
Used this in 75 degree weather, reattached my tab and waited for 2 days. Reattached the wire and it pulled right off. Lost my money on this stuff

Don’t use it on top of solder and it’s strong
Soldered my button to the window but it’s a cold weld and doesn’t last. My mistake was not cleaning off the solder on the terminal and that will make epoxy a weak bond. Make sure you clean all solder off and the connection will last. Lastly it’s a good idea to use a heat gun to cure it quickly just don’t pour water or let rain hit the glass. I used a tarp.

Didnt last long.
In fact when we went to use it the first time we realized the rear window would not defrost and upon inspection saw the wire hanging again. Left the tab taped in place for 3 days before reattaching the wire.

It works, and yes you can apply it in the winter!
Used in my Subaru Outback and it actually works! I was able to apply it during the winter, but you need to use heat. Here's what I did...Lightly sanded the area to reinstall the defroster tab with 220 grit sandpaper. After this, I wiped it all down with isopropyl alcohol. Upon drying I followed mixing instructions that were on the package, then GENEROUSLY applied it on the tabs - then I used some folded up cardboard (see pics) to sort of wedge the defroster appliance between the window frame and the window (again, see pics). Afterwards I smeared even more product on. Then, I propped up my radiant heater and aimed it at the spot where the tab was reinstalled and left it there for a full 24 hours. At this time the product was hardened, so I plugged it in and it still held great. A few days later it snowed and I was able to test it out - AND IT WORKS!!! Wooh!!!Highly recommend this product.

Conducts Electricity
Might need an epoxy over the top to insure holding capacity but definitely conducts electricity. (Checked with meter) Let it setup for a couple of days before attaching wire and it might hold. Second go-round I put clear epoxy over the top to insure the bond to the window circuit.

Sorry to say the product does not last over time. Failed within 6 months of use.
Updated report product failed after a couple of months use.Sorry to say that I'm very disappointed with the long term use of this repair. After about 6 months of use the repair failed. Originally I was pleased with how it worked but over the last 6 months the connection has failed caused by the adhesive melting between the contacts. Please take a look at the pictures. I did try and reach out to the vendor about this issue but they said it was due to my misapplication of the product. I can't recommend this product as the vendor refuses to stand behind their product.Tried one of the Name Branded ones and although I followed the detailed directions given on Amazon no luck. It stuck but did not conduct the electricity.Followed the real simple directions for this product and on the first try it worked exactly as advertised.I would recommend this product over the name brand as even though it was a few dollars more initially in the long run it would have been cheaper without the hassle of having to do it twice .
