I don't actually hate this music box but I dooo because it plays on my head 24/7!! Honestly this was the best $10 purchase I've made for my baby! The music box also has a hook that rotates for a mobile to be added. It's hung buy a little loop at the top which laced a string through to hang it. You can adjust the volume or change the song or turn the volume off in the mobile will turn without music. The music will play continuously until you to turn it off which is nice so you don't have to keep pressing a button to keep it going!! The songs are short kind of like "intros", not all verses of the song are played in the tunes but for a baby who loses attention easily this may come in handy! Runs on AA batteries which are not supplied. The little music box definitely gets the job done and I would purchase again!

I have a music mobile crib holder set from the other seller, and the music mobile box is powered by winding up. I have to wind up so many times, and my baby was still awake. It become more and more important to find a substitution and this is it! I have been using it every night about 20 min four months ago and I only changed the battery once. It comes with so many songs and it contains three volume levels adjustment. My baby falls asleep with the melody very fast with the lowest volume.

Might be the best baby purchase we've made. Our son doesn't always fall asleep with mobile on but if he does, walking in his room and cranking a loud manual mobile every 3 minutes is far from ideal. Also there are lots of songs and the ability to adjust the volume. Great item. 3 months on same batteries.

Love this product, we upgraded from a wind up one, it is exactly the same size as the older one, but this one is much better has tons of short songs and you can control the volume, power, and change the song with each button! Definitely an upgrade worth making.

Awesome on the battery life . This musical box runs for ever on two batteries. We run it all day and almost all night. The batteries last 2-3 weeks.

I like the volume control. My daughter is soooo happy that her mobile continues to rotate without me coming in every 30 sec to wind it. I’m happy too :)

Nice songs, two volumes. Compatible with other mobiles

We bought this because our mobiles music box shut off after 5 mins...turning it back on every few minutes doesn't help us get any sleep. This one stays on until you turn it off (we leave it on all night). There are 3 volume settings... the loudest one is quite loud and the quietest setting is good for sleeping. The sound quality is good. The buttons could be a little more intuitive/clear but that's no big deal. This only plays a few seconds of each song and there are some odd songs (Christmas music, happy birthday) which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I wish it would play fewer songs (lullabies) and play them a little longer. My twins don't care, but I find it odd to listen to the wedding March during nighttime feedings.

I’m not happy at all with this purchase. First the music box only plays a very small part of the song(almost like a preview) not the full song. Then it will continuously play. I thought that after a few minutes or something it would eventually turn off. No! You have to manually press the off button. Not impressed at all- would not buy again.

I do like it, but it only comes with two volume settings, it's true what some reviews says each song (just the music not actual lyrics) is more like a trailer of the song which barely last a few seconds, I don't really mind this since my baby only cares about the sound but if you want the complete song this is not for you.

I ordered this because my current one was a winding one and only lasted a total of 3 minutes. This one will play play until you turn it off. Giving it 3 stars because it only plays about 10 seconds of each song and even on its loudest setting, it is definitely not loud enough to capture and hold my babys attention.

I really like everything about this mobile, it plays many different melodies one after another but each lasts maybe 10 seconds or so. As soon as you start enjoying one of your favourite ones it plays the next one already. It would be a nice improvement if they lasted longer!

I don’t mind it has Christmas songs or others that would think to have for a baby. Wish the motor was faster and that it came with instructions and a hook or loop to hand it from another hook in the ceiling.
