Better than the price suggests!
I have purchased "more popular" name brand stands in the past which are nowhere near the rugged construction of this setup. Very heavy duty construction with the same if not slightly better clamps than other quality stands. The mounting bolts for lights/accessories are not permanent like on other stands but that's not a bad thing. I would recommend ordering nuts so that you don't need to remove them when changing/removing fixtures and use the supplied wing nuts for only holding fixtures. You can hardly get a single stand of good quality much less 2 stands and 3 truss sections for $200 so this setup id definitely worth the price. The stands will extent to 12 feet so they are suitable for even most outdoor events.

Great product!
Sturdy, heavy duty. We'll worth the purchase. Easy to assemble. Great value. I definitely would purchase again.

Great communication and customer service.
I would like to point out this company maintains an open channel of comunication for all customers and it was very easy to get a hold of them to solve an issue must probably created by the shipper's misshandeling of box. This truss system can be assembled all by yourself but, I will recommend you get someone else to help you connecting the vertical truss to the stands, specially when using the 15' spand (all 3 sections together).I love the fact that you can raise this truss as high as you can. I was looking for a way to hold my lights high enough off the ground so I can set them downward onto the floor and this one can do it while feeling sturdy and capable to withstand a light breeze and ocational wind gust without risking tipping over. While in the box, this system can be carried by one person with considerable effort but it is recommended you find a helper, its a big box holding everything inside and because of this, you can bet it will be misshanddled (toss around) while in transit to you, probably causing minor scratches, small dents in some parts or even broken parts.Although it hasn't happen to me while putting it together or been used, in my opinion the Achilles heel of this system are the T-Connectors simply because 3 of those arrived broken, (2 broken, 1 lightly cracked), but their customer service made it right by mailing me the replacements right away. Can't wait to try it out.

Fantastic Truss System
I really like this truss system. This is the first I have owned, but have used many and others can be quite cheap and flimsy. This truss system is very sturdy, yet lightweight. The cross section fully assembled with LED PAR lights, power strips, and all cabling only weighed 31 lbs in my configuration. It is a bit wobbly at full extension, but that shouldn't be an issue for most users. I only have 2 moving fixtures on the truss system and I mounted them to the T bars that go on top of the tripods. I can see you may have an issue at full extension with a bunch of moving heads, but for most stage applications that this is targeted for, this is the by far the best I have seen.

Good quality, worth the money.
Will engineered, well machined. Goes together fairly easily. The two I-beam connectors need to be completely slid onto each of the I-beams, ignore the Bolt holes and instructions on the video. If you try to use the bolt holes, the I-beam will not sit correctly in the Ibeam coupler.Happy with it so far.Remember to add some weights beneath the tripods. The powder coating holds up decently for a little while.

Best full and all general use back truss system for the price
This lighting back truss system is excellent, very sturdy and well built, and one of the few that comes included with a 15 ft (three 5 ft section) back truss, which really is necessary in most live shows (10 ft truss systems just aren't long enough). Crank handles would have been nice, but it is relatively easy to raise each side one step at a time, even for one person. It does not come with any carry bags for the pieces which would have been nice, but I have found 58" long storage/carry bags on Amazon for this.

These wracks won't hold up to par
I've used this wrack twice and a collar that holds up the wrack is broken already, now I can't raise my rack but half the difference needs to be made of better quality

LONG overdue!
I have been in a band for 8 years now, and as anyone who’s been in a band knows, each venue is unique. Some have incredible stages with their own lighting systems, while others are so dark, you need to wear a miner’s helmet. After recently performing at the latter, I had had enough, and I FINALLY bought the AP3101 Griffin Light Truss Stand System. This thing is incredible. You can hang lights on a 5’, a 10’, or a 15’ truss, or if you’re in a tight space, you can just put the T-bar on top of the 13’ tall tripod stand, and set it up to one side of the stage with enough lights to cover the stage. It’s well-designed and really quite sturdy. I don’t know why I didn’t buy one years ago.
