Do it. Don't hesitate
This sort of writing or film is rare for these days. The film is remarkable in every single way and by reading the adapted screenpaly (trust me, the working ones do not look like this) one gets much more in-depth view of the miraculous Roald Dahl like characters, the situation and the clear link to reality. This is a work of art.If you enjoyed this film, you will appreciate this book. It includes photographs- superfluous- but also sketches for original costume designs and a beautifully written set of forwards.

I absolutely loved it.
Reading a screenplay gives you an inside view into the entire character. It fills in the blanks. While some may feel it leaves nothing to the imagination, I find the opposite true. It enhances the imagination, creating vivid imagery in the mind. This screenplay was fabulous. I'm looking forward to many more from Mr. Anderson. Bravo!

Mr. Anderson, you'd win my award.
The Grand Budapest lost for best screenplay today, and, in my eyes, that is a grave mistake. I don't like long, serious affairs, so I'll just say this: This is the first screenplay for a film that I've ever bought; it is elegant and beautiful, and a pleasure to behold.

beautifully printed, reasonably priced and full of fun stills ...
This is more than I wanted. How often can someone say that? It's well bound, beautifully printed, reasonably priced and full of fun stills from the film.

I loved this. It was so funny and just plain crazy. I found myself reading it with a funny accent in my head. It really just highlights the simplicity of thinking that we would all love to indulge in but cant. It was lovely.

Grand Budapest hotel movie and script
you would have to appreciate British humor and they speak so fast that you sometimes miss the brilliant script, so I ordered the book as a keepsake

Wes Anderson’s best.
One of the wittiest, most pointed screenplays of the decade.
