It’s thin plastic and needs to be handled carefully but it works and our 7 year old grandson likes it.

Got two of these for my children and they are obsessed with them! They were easy to put together and all types of coins work properly to spin down the funnel. My kids had fun dropping a few coins at a time and it didn’t mess up. This is a fun coin bank for kids to add their coins to! Makes saving money fun!

This is my third vortex piggy bank… My daughter who is autistic really stems out to the coins going around and around, she absolutely LOVES this! It’s the only vortex action toy/bank that I can find that is clear so you can watch the coins the entire way down. It’s awesome. With that being said it’s cheaply made and breaks easily. If it gets too full the bottom seal breaks apart and coins come out, the connector pieces where you insert coins is easily broken too…like I’ve said I’ve bought three of them.. due to this happening BUT with the amount of joy my daughter gets out of this I will buy one every year(usually for Christmas) would be best for an older child who uses this as a piggy bank instead of a daily toy!

I gifted this to a family friend for Christmas who collects coins. It assembled fine (difficult to get in place, but fine after it was), but then broke upon disassembling it. The plastic was very thin and fractured instantly with the slight pressure required to disassemble. Also, when the box was received in the mail it was not in an Amazon box (Amazon label was just slapped on the original vortex box) and it was clearly opened then poorly taped shut, resulting in it being open upon arrival.

3-1/2 year old grandson loved it and watched every coin he found in his Easter eggs.as they were spinning around.

So for the price it is a solid few days of fun.... And worth it.... But buy some gorilla glue to go with it, because it will only take being emptied and filled about 10 times before the plastic parts begin to separate

This votrex coin bank is a fun concept and I plan to keep it, but i don't expect it to last long. It is very cheaply made and difficult to make stay together once put together. It does work as advertised - the coins do spiral around the upper chamber and drop down into the lower. I hope it will be sturdy enough for my granddaughter to enjoy using it.

Bought this for my 3 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it. It works perfectly. It's just like the things in the malls from when I was younger. When it arrived the box was destroyed with a big hole in it. But that's not the sellers fault and the product was just fine.
