Bluray 3D Collector Set
I was surprised to see the collector set with Raphael statue was still available 10 years after release, and was originally just looking for 3D Blurays. What a find to get the 3D set and statue for less than the other options available. It won't let me upload a ohoto for some reason, but the statue is really cool. It's plastic, but has a really nice paint app and feels nice and solid. The movie itself is what it is. I saw it opening day in 3D at the theater, and enjoyed it for simply being a new Ninja Turtles film, but it missed a lot of what made me love Turtles to begin with. The sequel was fun, adding Bebop and Rocksteady and Krang which we all wanted to see in movies back in the 90s. It's too bad they're all CGI.These movies are fun in 3D though, and after years without a 3D TV, I just got a new 4K projector with 3D and decided to pick up a few titles I didn't already have.

Love the movie, love the figure!
For the price, this figurine is absolutely gorgeous! It's a great price considering it also comes with the movie, and, of course, if you like the movie, then you'll like this product! Fantastic!

So underrated
I love this movie so much, I can't stop rewatching it. I was a little girl in the 80s, so I was raised on the Ninja Turtles. I have no idea how I missed this movie coming out in theaters. It must have came out in the thick of all the Marvel movies coming out, and we were caught up in that Marvel craze at the time, tight on funds, and probably only afforded ourselves one movie theatre trip at a time. I'm so sad I missed this. My son made me sit and watch this recently, and from there I was hooked. I watched the 2nd one as well, and I'm so sad they are not releasing the 3rd. They are just a fun set of movies. I jumped on the net to geek out about overanalyzing some of the interactions (Like was it just me or was Leo kinda irritated that April was learning his name?) only to find hoards of internet idiots doing nothing but hating all over the movie, and I was shocked. LIke why!? Just because the turtles are big? Seriously? People like that ruin it for people who enjoy just sitting back, suspending belief for a couple hours, and accepting the artists remakes and going with the flow for a fun movie. Admitted, it does feel a LOT like Transformers at first, but I ended up liking the turtle movies better than Transformers. The comments at April notwithstanding, I fell in love with Mikey, and they improved on the comments with the 2nd movie anyway. I hope the reconsider on bringing out the 3rd one.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a good remake and good fun
Honestly, this movie isn't as bad as it's made out to be. It was actually a lot of fun and a movie that kids can have a blast with. No, it's not Oscar-worthy but it's harmless and a movie that I'd watch again without any complaining. First off, the turtles are done right in this movie. They're fantastic and they interact very well with each other. Michelangelo steals the whole movie. The acting is pretty good for the most part. Megan Fox was actually pretty good as April O'Neill and she didn't bother me at all. William Fichtner was also good. The only person who annoyed me was Will Arnett and I really wouldn't mind if he was cut out of the sequel completely. Splinter and Shredder were both well represented although I would've liked to see a bit more of Shredder. Story-wise, this movie is OK. It's cohesive enough to have fun with and the snow chase sequence is fantastic. The 3D on the Blu-ray is also very good, I recommend it. So overall, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles didn't ruin the Turtles like I feared it would and I'm happy to say that I'm excited for the sequel and I'm excited the turtles are back.

Surprisingly fun.
Quick little retropspective of my personal experience with the Ninja Turtle Film Franchise.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)-Saw it numerous times when i was in second graded really enjoyed it.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the ooze.-Never saw it. Most people that i knew growing up that did don't really care for it.Teenage Mutant Ninjas Turtles 3: Turtles in Time.-Again never saw it. Everybody has called it the Batman & Robin of the franchise and pretty much killed the the film franchise for almost two decades until 2007.TMNT (2007).-I loved this movie! hands down best turtles since the first live action movie.Fast forward to 2014 and we now have the Micheal bay 'Produced" reboot of the live action film franchise and honestly i loved it! Yes it has alot of issues like the painfully obvious reshoots and megan fox as april, and the climax which essentially just"The Amazing Spider-Man" but as an action film the movie is a ton of fun. especially the snow mountain scene that was just plain exciting as hell! the turtles are still the turtles there aren't any real change to there personality just mainly there physical appearences, which works just fine for the movie that they are making. So besides the obvious negatives i honestly had alot of fun.
