Jackie Chan Adventures - The Demon Portals Saga - 39 Episodes

It’s a feel good cartoon. It has the Jackie Chan classic vibes. It’s a wholesome cartoon that my son enjoyed when young & now as an adult.

The Jackie Chan Adventures was one of my favorite Kids’ WB Saturday morning cartoons growing up. This is a great show from the early 2000s that kids, teens and adults can enjoy. The premise of Jackie Chan Adventures season two is that after a humiliating defeat (season one finale) at the hands of Jackie Chan and section 13 the dragon demon Shendu is looking to free his seven demonic siblings from a dimensional prison. With the help of magical talismans, his family, friends and section 13 Jackie Chan must fight The Dark Hand and other evil forces to keep the world safe.It should be noted that the first three episodes on disk 1 are considered “lost episodes” and actually fit into season 1 (so I would probably watch those first). I hope that Mill Creek Entertainment will eventually release seasons 1,3,4 and 5 on DVD.

Really cool to go back to the past of the WB Saturday shows. It’s not the first season. I believe it’s the second. It’s with all the demon monsters escape the green portal and Jackie has to get one by one. What a great show put into a dvd. Wish season 1 was the same price. But the show is becoming some what of a legend. Real cheap for the price of a good show. Friendly for any kids. Just little fun magic. Left with a happy ending

I remember watching this show when I was a kid. Jackie Chan is one of my favorite action star, and this show brings supernatural horror, fantasy lore, and Chinese myths and legends to a younger audience that the whole family can enjoy together. Along for ride with Jackie are his niece Jade, his uncle, and former villain torhu. Together they face demons, monsters of legend, evil sorcerers and magic.

I use to watch this show on kids wb on Saturday morning and it was fun and hilarious in season 2 Jackie and his niece Jade go on another adventure but this they face Shin du and his demon relatives by trying opening the demon portals with the help grandpa and his new assistant Torue to bring them back to the portals with magic.

These are pretty no-frills DVDs, no bonus features or fancy menus, hence one less star than usual, but I'm happy to have all of the 2nd season in one set.However it's been a few years now and there's STILL no complete set of the rest of the series and that's beyond rediculous. I E-mailed the publisher to see if they had plans to release more, and they said they were negotiating it but had nothing to announce. That was nearly two years ago now. What's the friggin hold up??

You let me think that the seaire was the complete seaire and it's not it's the second season only so now I have to try to find the rest of them and yes I am very very upset and disappointed because you lied when you don't describe the full details that is a lie.

Great show, but the first few episodes were all out of order, but I looked it up and it seems that they originally aired that way. Other than that, it's great to have season 2 on DVD. I hope that we can get the rest of the seasons soon.
