231 J Heavy Duty Slip Yoke Eliminator / SYE Kit 52231 18676.60 & Driveshaft Combo

If you own a jeep and it is lifted this is 100% needed. It is now safe to drive at highway and freeway speeds and has eliminated all vibration cause by lift and pinion angle. These parts cost nearly double almost anywhere else. Must have for jeep owners at an affordable price point.

Good fit.Driveline has all Spicer joints.Two trail trips and 250 miles so far and all good!2000 tj auto, 2.5"lift.Updated 5/8/2017Even with excellent maintenance theCv failing,u joints rotate in yoke and the pivot ball is warn.The rear bearing is moving in the housing.(I was able to add a shim to lock it in place )I have replaced the output seal 2 times.

Fit as directed but no instructions. This is a good SYE kit made by Crown Automotive. This was well made and fit just as it should I was a bit put off my the lack of instructions. I was lucky that this is a very typical Jeep upgrade so there is tons of documentation out there on the intewebs so I just did a quick search and found what I needed but still include something next time please? The lack of instructions is the reason for the 3 stars.

Drive shaft seems to be good but this is not a slip yoke eliminator. A real sye kit is a lot shorter. If your tj is on a 4 inch lift or bigger this is not the kit for you. Trust me! Mine broke and broke my transfer case, transmission, ripped off the exhaust and the pinion yoke. Avoid this junk.
