This stuff is the best. Particularly great if you're under Coronapocalypse pressure and either fairly new to doing your own nails, or pressed for time (maybe because like me you're in wife/mommy mode 24/7 with all these people at home that need you ALL THE TIME nowadays, and you feel like you barely have time for you?😁). You still want your hands to look great, and this stuff makes that part super easy.Don't be fooled by the color on the bottle though! This is not your regular opaque nail polish. It's decidedly more nude, more translucent. There are other more opaque colors in the Orly French Manicure line and in my humble opinion, this is the most natural looking one by a mile. Some of the other colors are so heavily tinted that it adds a strange look to the white tips of your nails. Which kinda defeats the thought of a French manicure.I personally use this when I either need a mani-in-a-hurry, or if I am all over the place in terms of colors that I'm wearing and feeling and don't want to commit to any one particular shade.This product doesn't even need a base coat. Just swipe on a coat, let it dry, then add another coat. A clear top coat isn't necessary for me, but if you wish you could always add one.To be clear, this is a one-step polish. There are no stupid sticker guides to fumble with, and there is no separate white polish for your tips. Unless you're blessed (or creepy?) enough to be ambidextrous, you will always end up with one hand reasonably well done and the other one a total nightmare, with multi-step French manicure kits. Unless you have someone to do that OTHER hand, it's never a job you can be proud of. With this stuff, those time consuming and messy challenges are a thing of the past.Apart from how great it looks, the other added beauty is that it requires virtually no clean up because it's so nude looking. This is another reason why it's great if you always feel like you're in a pinch for time.The color is so nude that it adds a noticeable-if-you-look hue to your nail, yet clear enough to allow the naturally white tips of your nails to shine through beautifully. Hence the appearance of a French manicure.Last point of fabulousness with this find is the ease of removal. Because of its barely-there look, removal is a breeze. Zero staining and messes, it wipes off easily with no residual mess left behind. It comes off easily with any ol' nail polishe remover you already have on hand, and leaves your nails in great shape. No soaking, no harsh chemicals needed, and no buffing and filing to remove any staining.This is a must-have item to have on hand, and gets your nails looking perfectly tended in a breeze. Highly highly highly recommend it.

It’s GORGEOUS but that’s not my favorite thing about it. It’s literally the most durable nail polish I’ve ever used. It’s more durable than any gel or normal polish I’ve ever used. I hike on a regular basis and this stuff doesn’t chip for WEEKS. I think I’m sticking to this brand fit nail polish.

This is my favorite color in the whole world!! It is the perfect minimal color nude and matches my skin tone perfectly. Makes for a neat, clean, and professional manicure.

Finally! Orly French Manicure 22479 Sheer Nude is the only nude I’ve found so far that goes on buttery smooth and doesn’t leave streaks, even for a no-fuss novice, like me. It was easy to use. Please, ignore my poor self-manicure job in the photos. I’m about 75% tomboy and not the greatest at grooming my nails. I like this nail polish because it gives me naturally pretty nails with little effort. I didn’t use a base coat or a top coat. Photos are of one coat, completely dry, then two coats, completely dry.

Been on the hunt for sheer milky polishes.Loved Essie mademoiselle, sugar daddy(before renewal) but they have yellowing issue so wanted to venture out.Have tried zoya’s Madison, sally hansen’s sheer nirvana, olive&june’s ec/cct/beb and none of them lived up to hypes&expectation. Zoya and SH’s were wayyy too streaky and OJ’s chipped in a couple days.. so this was my last straw before returning to Essie but I am pretty content with the product. You need three coats to see the color but it goes on smoothly without streaks and dries fast.The first photo is to show how they chipped in two days when applied with seche vite fast dry top coat so I wore it two coats without top coats in the second photo and that is on day4-5 with is pretty good given that I have been doing house chores.

glad I got this color, was using essie and felt like i couldnt use one layer because of all the streaking. Orly is far better than essie in this case. One coat is perfect but opted for two. No streaking, dries well without bubbling. Brush is amazing and similar to Essie in that its wider and only need two swipes to get the full nail. I got rose colored glasses and its the best nail color ive used in a while, exactly what i was looking for, i nice light nude thats not too opaque and not too pink or tan. Will have to see how long it lasts but I hvae high hopes.

It's exactly what I've been looking for. In the '60's Avon sold a nail polish like this - clear but with a tint of pink. I'm so pleased to have one again!

I had been searching high and low for a pretty, slightly sheer pale pink polish and came across this. It had great reviews so I gave it a go. When it came I was super excited as it appeared to be just what I had been searching for. I tried it out immediately and was met with nothing but huge disappointment. While it looks pink, it goes on clear and dries clear. So, basically I spent $8 for a clear polish when I could have grabbed any brand of clear polish at local stores for half the cost of this. I will use it, because it performs well as a clear polish. But I will not repurchase.

Really nice sheer polish. Not too pink/not too nude shade, zero streaks. Good coverage in 1 coat and ridges totally disappear in 2 coats.

The quality is satisfying.

I have about 10 colours from the Orly brand. All the colours looks amazing and the quality also the best, never colouring my nails, not even the red one. But unfortunately this is the only colour which is dries super quick (even 2 or 3 coat) and can survive 5 days with my work style. Warehouse work, and lot of washing up at home. Unfortunately i don’t like wearing gloves.
