Too large
I read the reviews and bought a box of 18month and a box of 2T plastic pants for my 2 year old toddler - these 2T fit way to big, and I am glad i had a back up with my another box of 18months-pants.

They keep the couch dry
These do the job. I put them on right over his underwear so that when he has an accident, my furniture doesn't suffer. The legs are snug. They need to be or they wouldn't do their job. They are noisy, but not as much if you put regular pants over them. The waterproffing is excellent I have not had any issues with leaking at all. My son is quite slender and these fit him true to size. If your little one has chunky thighs you may want to try a size bigger.

Terrible crunchy plastic material very uncomfortable!!!
Terrible crunchy plastic and very uncomfortable and itchy!!! My son cried while wearing them!!! We normally buy a different brand called Dappi and they are 100% Nylon and they work great and the material is not crunchy plastic also very comfortable!!! My son loves them but these Gerber ones don't waste your money they don't even hold the urine in!!! I put these over his diapers when he sleeps, because he leaks out of his diapers at night and these Gerber covers do not help at all they leak but the other brand we use called Dappi works wonders and I don't have leak issues!

same great Gerber quality.
These plastic pants are designed to be larger than your toddler. That way they fit over the top of the cotton training pants. You don't want to buy plastic training pants that fit snug. They fit the same today as they did 25 years ago when I potty trained my oldest child. These pants are thin and flexible, as they should be. They do not absorb anything, not meant to. They help stop potty accidents from leaking out. They can be rinsed or wiped down (you don't need to run these through the washer. and definitely not in the dryer).

These seem big enough for a 10-year old....
Good quality and a reasonable price. My son will be 3 years old next month. He weighs 29.5 pounds and is 36 inches tall so I bought size 2 plastic pants--but they spill out over the waistband of his pants. They're very wide and very tall but the leg holes are only slightly too big for my son. Maybe they're always made so big for leak prevention on squirmy toddlers? The size 2 cotton training pants (bought separately) fit him just right with just a little extra room to grow into, which is what I expected.

I would recommend these to all mothers who are in the process ...
I would recommend these to all mothers who are in the process in potty training their child. They are a little large but the child they were brought for is small but they work.

Size runs big
I bought these to go under a swimsuit, as required by my daughters swim class. She has been wearing 2T size in all shirts and most pants for months now and these Gerber 2T covers were way too big for her. I ended up also ordering the 18 month size and they are also a little big (like puffy is the best way to describe it), but much better for what we needed. My daughter is slightly thin, weighs about 26 pounds, however I still think these run big.
